CHAPTER 3- Sirena's POV

It's the first day of the second month, October. We haven't had much luck with finding the mermaid princess.

"I heard someone name Ethan Jacobs is coming back from his vacation!" a girl said excitedly in the hallway.

"I wonder who Ethan is," I said to Chloe.

"Don't know, don't care," she said.

After one month, Chloe still has an attitude of thinking she is better than humans.

I shrugged. We walked to class and the first thing I noticed was the guy who was really weird guy that we saw yesterday was there.

"Hey look, there's the guy from yesterday," I whispered to Chloe.

Chloe was studying him. Wow, seriously?

"I think he's the guy," she said.

"Yeah, I know the guy that we saw yesterday," I said.

"No, I mean the guy that I saved when I was 7 years old," said Chloe.

"No way," I said.

"Just check for the mermaid scar on him," she said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"When a mermaid saves a human, there's always a mermaid sign. Humans can't see it but other mermaids can," she said.

Well I guess I learn something useful today.

"So where is the scar?" I asked.

"Where I first touched him,"

"Where?"

"His arms."

The guy looked up and saw Chloe, he was just staring at her.

We took our usual seats in the middle of the classroom.

"Hey, I'm Ethan, you guys look to hot to be sitting alone," said the guy.

"I'm Sirena," I said.

"and I'm Chloe," Chloe said.

"Chloe?" he asked.

"Umm yeah?"

He seemed to be studying Chloe for a while.

"That's great," he said and he walked away.

"That was weird," I said, hoping Chloe would agree with me.

"I really think he's the guy," Chloe whispered.

"Really?"I asked.

"Yes."

"Ok than we'll look for the mermaid scar later on," I said.
