Nunew's POV

I sigh for the hundredth time. I couldn't sleep and I don't even know why. I groan , sitting up as I then got out of bed. I then walked out of the room. I walked down the stairs seeing lights coming from the living room. I peeked my head seeing Zee on his laptop. I cleared my throat making him lift his head up from the laptop.

"Hey .." I said , walking towards him as I sat at the other end of the couch , leaving a space in between us.

"Hey .. did I wake you up ?" He asked , lowering the volume of the tv.

"Not really .. I couldn't sleep .." I said , hugging my knees close to my chest. He then frown , turning to me.

"Is something wrong ?" He asked.

"It's nothing .. just couldn't sleep .." I said.

"What are you working on ?" I asked as I moved a little closer.

"I was thinking of opening a bar .." he said as I look at it.

"Woah .. that's cool .." I said as he look at me , chuckling.

"But this is just a draft .. it's not like it'll happen .." he said , closing the laptop making me frown.

"Aow , why not ?" I asked.

"I am a CEO of the Kilen Company .. my dad will kill me if I didn't follow his path way .." he said.

"Why don't you stand up for yourself then ?" I asked.

"I tried to but I am over it .." he said.

"But aren't you tired of trying to be perfect ?" I asked making him chuckle.

"Maybe .. but I don't really care .." he said as he sigh , leaning back.

"You know it looks like you know a lot about me but I don't know much about you .." he said , looking at me.

"Me ?" I asked.

"Yep , tell me more about yourself .. this is what you call learning about each other .." he said making me roll my eyes. I then chuckled , fixing my posture as he did the same.

"Well .. I grew up with P'Sun .." I said.

"P'Sun is the only person who was there for me at every step I took in life ..." I said as he listened intently.

"My mom .. um .. she left ... I guess .." I said.

"But I remember I was in a hell hole because of her ..." I said.

"She taught me to love her .. and only her .." I said.

"I wasn't allowed to love anyone else ... she told me that if I loved other people .. I'll eventually lose them .." I said.

"Is that why you're scared of people leaving you ?" He asked and I nod.

"I get anxious .. and that's why I kept biting my nails .." I said.

"When my mom left .. I thought what she said was true .." I said , looking down.

"I loved her .. and eventually she left me .." I said softly as I soon teared up.

"It kinda made me question .. whether I could ever love .. because what if I love someone and he suddenly leaves .." I said as tears rolled down.

"Hey .." said Zee as he moved closer to me.

"I'm sorry .. I am being emotional .." I chuckled as he shook his head , wiping my tears as I looked at him.

"You don't have to be afraid to love ..." he said.

"Because love is such a strong word .." he continued as he caress my head.

"If that someone loves you for who you are .. they wouldn't dare to leave .." he said as I smile softly.

"If it makes you feel better .. I'll go jump into the pool right now just so I can see you smile .." he said making me frown.

"What ?" I asked as he then chuckled , getting up. I frown , doing the same. He then walked out towards the pool.

"Zee ? What are you doing ?" I asked following him. He chuckled before jumping into the pool making me gasp. He swim up to the surface , shaking his head.

"What the hell were you thinking ?!" I asked , smiling.

"I told you , I'll jump into the pool just to see you smile ..." he said making me giggle.

"Come on , get out , it's late !" I said kneeling down as I pulled out my hand. He then swim towards me , grabbing my hand.

"It's not fair." He said.

"What ?" I asked.

"That you are the only one that's dry .." he said making me frown. Out of a sudden he pulled me making me fall into the water. I gasp , wiping my face as Zee laughed.

"What was that for ?!" I asked as he chuckled.

"It's called refreshing yourself .." he said as I glared at him , splashing the water towards him.

"Oh so now you're playing dirty !" He said as we then had a small water fight. I laughed trying to swim away but he grabbed my waist. I giggled , holding his shoulder as he look at me. I smile looking at him as I breathe hard. My cheeks then started burning up. I chuckled , pushing his head down to the water before swimming away.

I shivered as Zee came back with a towel in his hand. He sat across me , placing the towel around me. I ruffled my hair , trying to dry it.'

"Here let me help .." he said as he then grabbed another towel , drying my hair. I look at him as he focus on drying my hair. Without me realizing , I slowly placed my cold hand on his cheek making him freeze what he was doing , looking at me. He then held my hand that was against his cheek , leaning against it as he close his eyes , sighing.

He then slowly opened his eyes as I caress his cheek. I then slowly leaned closer , hugging him tightly as I placed my chin on his shoulder. I close my eyes , feeling his warmth. I could then feel his hands wrapped around me.

"Sir .." I quickly pulled away , turning to see the maid. I stood up , clearing my throat as I rubbed my neck nervously.

"Sorry to interrupt ... but Poppy called saying that you have a meeting tomorrow in the morning." She said as Zee cleared his throat , getting up.

"Got it .." said Zee as the maid smile shyly , bowing before running off. I look at Zee awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Well I um , I should go up and wash up and sleep .." I said.

"Yeah .. right .." he said.

"W-Well , goodnight !" I said before running into the house. I ran upstairs to my room , closing the door. I leaned against it , hugging my arm. I smile to myself , biting my lips. I then look at my hand , frowning.

"What is this fluttery feeling ?" I asked before smiling to myself.
