Zee's POV.

I walked downstairs seeing Max in a weird costume. I chuckled making him turn.

"What's up with your outfit ?" I asked , biting my lips to prevent from laughing.

"Very funny .." he said making me chuckle. He then lifted up a huge bag making me look at it with a frown.

"What's this ?" I asked.

"It's your costume .." he answered making me frown.

"Costume ? What costume ?" I asked.

"Didn't Nunew tell you that the theme is 'the 90's' ?" He said making me frown.

"The 90's ?" I asked.

"Like funky country music that has big feathers attached to their outfits and shiny outfits and big burst of colors everywhere ?" He said.

"And plus , Nunew told me to give you this , so go get change right now .." he said as he hand me the bag.

"Dude I-."

"No buts , it's my boyfriend's birthday .. just wear it for godsake .." he said and I sigh in defeat , going upstairs.

- later -

"I look hideous." I huffed.

"If you look hideous , what about me ? Bright gold and hot pink pants don't fit me well .." he complained.

"I think you both look great sir !" Said Poppy at the front making the both of us turn to him. He chuckled awkwardly before pulling up to the house. I look at Max , sighing before getting out of the car. I look at him as he then walked to the door with me as Poppy followed from behind.

"Aow , you're finally here !" Said Nat as he greeted us at the door.

"Sorry babe , someone here took a little long to get change .." said Max sarcastically making me roll my eyes.

"Happy Birthday Nat .. here's your birthday present.." I said as I turn to Poppy , grabbing one of the paperbags from him. I gave Nat the bag making him smile as he grabbed the bag from me.

"Thank you na P'Zee .." he said making me smile slightly.

"Oh you guys are in time for Nhu's performance , come on !" Said Nat as he grabbed Max's hand. I walked in seeing a lot of people. I then saw Nhu's family. I put my hand together , greeting them as they waved. I then sat on a empty couch as Max sat with Nat.

"Welcome everyone ! On this special day , for Nat's birthday , we have a special performance ! Please put your hands together for Kirin !!" Announce Pure , one of Nunew's friends. Everyone cheered as I smile , clapping my hands.

I watch as Nunew sing passionately on the stage , enjoying himself as the crowd cheer for him. One by one people went up the stage to give him gifts. I then saw Noah , giving a rose to Nunew who was singing. Nunew smile as I then poked my tongue on my inner cheek.

"Calm down Pruk , Nunew is singing up there .." I said and soon I realized that his performance was going to end soon. I turned to Poppy beside me , snapping my finger as he then nod , taking out a bouquet of flowers from the bag. I got up , buttoning my suit as I grabbed the bouquet from the Poppy , walking to the front slowly. Soon Nunew's eyes met mine as he sang the last few line.

"Ruk koon sia ying gwah krai
( I love you more than anyone else )
Ruk koon sia ying gwah krai
(I love you more than anyone else)" he sang , staring into my eyes making me smile. Soon the song ended making everyone cheer loudly. Nunew breathe hard as he slowly got down the stairs.

"Zee , you're here .." he said and I nod.

"Here .." I said as he look at the bouquet before grabbing it.

"Thank you na .." he said smiling widely. Everyone then started making teasing noise making me and Nunew looked around shy. I chuckled , looking at Nunew.

- later -

I was talking to Nunew when my phone started ringing.

"I have to get this call , I'll be back .." I said and he nod. I walked out of the house , answering the call.

"Ah yes Mr Kuea .. yes .. I am leaving for New York next week .." I said.

"Yes , I hope you prepared everything .." I said , chuckling.

"I'll see you then .. goodbye .." I said hanging up. I then turned around seeing Noah.

"What's your relationship with Nhu ?" He asked all of a sudden making me frown.

"I thought you know. Me and Nhu are engaged .." I answered.

"You all are fake engaged .. I mean now .. what's your relationship with Nhu ? If you guys are a fake couple , why would you give him a bouquet of flowers and look at him with love ?" He asked making me chuckle in disbelief.

"I don't think you should worry about what's my relationship with Nhu , it's only for me and him to know , excuse me." I said walking pass him.

"I know you like Nunew." He said making me stop my track , turning to him.

"But I won't let you be together with Nunew .." he continued making me smirk.

"And why not ?" I asked.

"Because I can be a better boyfriend than you .." he answered.

"Hm is that so ?" I asked , walking closer to him.

"I like Nunew first. You barely know Nunew." He said and I smile.

"I promise you .. I'll win Nhu .." He said and I chuckled smirking.

"Yes , it's true , you're right , I like Nhu .. but wait , actually I am in love with him ..." I said.

"And yes I barely know him more than you do .." I said but then I leaned down to his ear.

"But I think we both know who already won .." I whispered as I then look at him with a smirk. I then walked back into the house before he could say anything.

Nunew's POV.

I dipped my legs into the pool as I sat down on the edge. I close my eyes , feeling the afternoon breeze. I sigh comfortably , swinging my legs that was under the water.

"May I join you ?" I open my eyes to see Zee. I smile nodding as he rolled up his pants , sitting down beside as he dipped his legs. I looked at him and at the costume.

"This outfit looks good on you .." I said touching the feather.

"It's sparkly .." He said as we both burst out into laughter.

"Thank you na .. for coming .." I said and he smile. Soon the silence surrounds us.

"Oh yeah , I am performing on Friday night at Crystal Club .. it's a special performance and I was wondering if you could come .." I said.

"If it's you who's performing .. I wouldn't miss it for the whole world .." He said making me smile.

Zee's POV.

"Have you thought of what song you are going to perform ?" I asked.

"I think so , it's kinda a surprise that's why it's called a special performance .." he answered making me chuckle.

"I'll definitely come .. for sure .." I said making him smile nodding. He then sigh , placing his head on my shoulder as he hugged my arm. I chuckled , leaning my head on his. I then could see Noah watching us from afar. I look at him , giving him a smirk as Nunew tightened his grip around my arm.

We are finally getting closer to the end of this whole book 🥹 after writing this , I can't believe that this is my second ZeeNunew book that I've done so far , I hope that it's not the end too 🥹 now let me ask all of you for opinions , what do you all think of special chapters ?
