Nunew's POV

My eyes widened as I then pushed Noah away.

"Noah , what the hell are you doing ?!" I asked in disbelief as we both breathed hard.

"Why did you kiss me ?!" I asked frowning.

"It's .. It's because I like you Nhu !" He said making me freeze.

"W-What ?" I asked as he sigh in frustration.

"I like you Nhu ... I am in love with you ..." he said.

"And I want you to be with me na .." he said , holding my arms.

"Please be with me Nunew ..." he said as I then shook my head , pushing his hands away.

"Noah... you are just my best friend .. nothing more than that , you know that I love Zee .." I said.

"That's the problem ! You like Zee ! But I like you first !" He exclaimed.

"I can be a better man for you than him ! Please .. give me a chance .." he said , holding my hand as I shook my head , pushing his hands away.

"You are my best friend Noah ! I don't see you more than that !" I said.

"And that kiss ?! It meant nothing to you ?!" He asked.

"Yes ! Because I am not in love with you ! How could you kiss me without my permission ?! What happened to boundaries Noah ?!" I fought back.

"You know , I thought you were my best friend .. I thought you understand me ... I thought you would be supportive of me .. but I guess I was wrong .." I said looking at him.

"I .. gotta go .." I said before walking towards my bike.

"Nhu .." he called out but I ignored him , wearing my helmet before driving off.

- later -

I got down from bike as I pulled up to the house. I took my helmet off , fixing my hair. I then walked in the house excitedly.

"Zee , I'm home !" I said and soon saw Zee sitting at the dinner table. I frown , walking towards him.

"Hey .." I said smiling as he lifted his head up. He smile softly , looking at me.

"Come , sit .." he said as I nod , sitting across him.

"There's something I'll like to talk to you about .." he said as I nod.

"What is it ?" I asked , ready to listen intently. He then placed a brown envelope , sliding it to me. I frown , looking at it and back at Zee. He nod as I grabbed the envelope slowly , opening it to see a few documents and a check.

"What's this ?" I asked confused.

"That's all the complete hospital bills ... it is all paid for already ..." he said making me look at him.

"And the check is for you to keep in case if you ever need it .." he continued.

"Nhu .." he said as he pulled his hand out. I slowly slide my hand onto his as he caress my ring.

"Our contract is over na .." he said softly making me look at him , froze in my place.

"After today , you can go back to your normal life as Kirin ..." he said as he slowly slid my ring off , placing on the table.

"Like I promised .." he said , taking off his ring , placing it beside mine.

"You can go back to what you were doing before while I will go back to my life in New York .." he said aa I slowly teared up.

"Thank you na .. for everything .. for the past 1 month .." he said , smiling weakly.

"Zee .. I .." I wanted to tell him how I felt but somehow .. no words could leave my mouth.

"It's okay na .." he said , patting my head gently. He then got up as my eyes never leave him.

"I'll get Poppy to come and pick you up tomorrow .." he said as he then slowly walked away , leaving me all alone in the dining room. I look at the two rings on the table as I then shakily grabbed my ring. I looked at it before clutching it , placing it close to my chest as I then burst into tears. I sat there sobbing as I clutch the ring tightly.

Zee's POV

I close the door , leaning against it. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I slowly slide down to the ground. I sat there ,closing my eyes , letting the tears stream down.

"I am sorry Nhu .." I thought.

- next day -

Nunew's POV.

I placed everything in the box , sealing it up. Soon I saw my ring that I placed in the box. I sigh , looking at it before grabbing it , placing it in my pocket. I grabbed my bag , wearing it as I grabbed the box. I then slowly walked out of the room. I turned back to the room filled with memories before closing the door.

I walked downstairs to see Zee. I walked towards him making him turn.

"Here Sir , let me help .." said Poppy as I smile , handing him the last box. I look at Zee as he smile weakly.

"Got everything?" He asked and I nod , not saying anything. I then remembered the ring in my pocket.

"Here .. I should give you back the ring .." I said as he took the ring.

"Sir Nunew , the car is ready .." said Poppy and I nod.

"Thank you for everything .." I said , trying my best not to cry in front of him. I breathe in , looking at him as I force a smile.

"I wish you all the best for your future endeavours na .." I said and he nod. I then walked past him as my smile disappeared.

"Nhu .." I turned around as he look at me.

"Please don't let me leave ..." I thought , hoping he would say he wouldn't want me to leave.

"Thank you .. for everything .. I wish you the best for you future too ..." he said , crushing my hopes. I nod , humming , forcing a smile before walking out of the door. Poppy opened the door for me as I got in. I look out the window as Zee stood at the door , watching me.

"Goodbye ... Zee .." I thought.

Soon Poppy drove out as Zee's figure kept getting smaller and smaller. I hugged my bag as tears rolled down my cheeks. I sniffled , hiding my face on my bag as I silently sobbed.

Once I reached my house and soon saw mom , opening the door. I got out car with the help of Poppy. He handed me my stuff as Mom then came walking to me with a smile. I thank Poppy for his help all this time making him smile , patting my back. I turned to Mom as she then opened her arms. I ran towards her , placing my stuff down as crash into her arms. I hugged her tightly. She rubbed my back as tears rolled down my cheeks. She then pulled away as I wiped my tears. She smile , caressing my cheeks.

"Let's go in .. are you hungry ?" She asked as I shook my head. She helped me with my stuff as I went in. I soon saw P'Sun. She smile as I hugged her tightly.

"Welcome home .." she said and I smile.
