Lando notices the spam of Yuxin's new song in his chat.
"You guys seem to really like Xinnie's new song," he says, smiling softly to himself as he reads the comments. "I like it a lot too."
"Where is Xinnie?" someone asks, and Lando reads the comment out loud.
"She's in her room. Or really, a guest room in my house. Working on music, again. She's very hardworking," he replies, taking a sip of water. "I try not to bother her when she's working, though."
There are more comments about the new song, and Lando stays silent as he reads through them. Everyone thinks that the song's about him.
That makes him quite happy.
"What colour are your eyes?" a comment reads.
"My eyes?" Lando says, looking into his monitor. He moves his face closer to his webcam, squinting. "Blue? Green? Is there a colour between blue and green?" he asks.
"I think they look blue sometimes. Green sometimes. It depends on the lighting?"
The chat somehow goes into a frenzy over this question, and Lando watches on, confused. Why are they going crazy over such a trivial question about his eye colour? He doesn't quite understand.
"Greenish-blue is aquamarine," a comment reads.
And Lando suddenly goes very still.
He can't breathe, he can't move, he can't think. Aquamarine. His eyes are aquamarine. Dare he say, aquamarine blue.
The songs are really about him - he really thought that his friends were joking, playing around with him to give him more motivation to confess. No wonder why they all said that he was dense.
Now Lando knows that he really was.
Camila wasn't lying.
None of them were lying.
And Lando finds his heart beating extremely, extremely fast.
His eyes grow wide, and he gets up abruptly from his chair, as if he's in a trance. "I... I have to go. I'm sorry, chat. Give me... give me a moment. Goodbye."
He ends the stream, and makes a beeline towards Yuxin's room.
