I started to undress, and I went into the shower. The warm water made contact with my skin instantly.

Taking a shower is the best part of my morning. It helps me to relax.

I go through my rules mentally, as I'm washing my hair.

1. Don't run away from school.
2. Keep my head down.
3. Try not to cuss out everyone in the hall.
4. Try not to punch Susanna in the face.
5. Don't talk to people who aren't my best friend, Olivia.
6. Try not to attract any attention.
7. Walk away from conflicts.
8. Don't talk to any boys unless it's for a project.
9. Make it through the day without getting a detention.

Sounds simple, right? WRONG! Every week, I almost break some of these rules.

One time, I talked to a guy, I was just asking him if he was fine. He had some pretty dark eyebags.

He told me to fuck off cus he had a girlfriend. I mentally slapped my forehead.

Why is this generation so stupid? Have they never learnt about genuinely asking someone if they're alright? That is, without having feelings towards them?

Anyway, I got out and picked out an all black outfit. I don't usually take long to pick an outfit. The first thing I see is the first thing I grab. All my clothes are plain, but they still look fashionable.

I checked my phone. 13 minutes has passed.

I don't need makeup. As I would say, I'm a natural beauty.

I head downstairs.

"Mum, Dad! I'm ready for breakfast." I said in a sing-song voice.

"I still can not believe you when you say you're not a morning person." My mum said.

"Me neither, darling." My dad said.

My mum and dad have always had a wonderful relationship. I envy them. I wish to have the love of my life and a happy ending.

I am always fanaticising that I'm the main character in my romance stories.

We ate breakfast.

"Bye mum and dad!"

I stepped out and placed my headphones on.

I started the dreaded walk to school.
