Kiya takes my bags and Mei guides me to the seat between theirs.
My heart squeezes in a painful vice.
My eyes prickle with tears and, not caring if we're not alone in the dingy classroom, I bury my head into Mei's shoulder.
"T-thank you, both of you. I haven't, I'm not-"
I don't deserve this. I want to say,
but the words choke me and glue themselves to the walls of my throat.
There's a heavy silence that leaves me wishing I could go back home, curl in bed and never ever, ever, ever come back out.

But then Kiya's hand starts rubbing soothing circles between my shoulder blades,
"Don't cry Harmony,
bad things happen sometimes and you'll see,
your sister will get better soon."
A.N. I really liked the images for this chapter, I'm not sure why. Also, I almost missed today's update because stuff kept coming up through the day and I couldn't sit down for longer than a few minutes Σ(゜ロ゜;)
