★THIRTY-ONE★

It was sam and Oliver's birthday, and I'm pretty sure I got them the best gift ever and no one can top mine. A tradition me and my family does is for every birthday, everyone gives the birthday kid(or kids) a present without their name on it, so they don't know who gave it to them. At the end, the person chooses the best present and the winner gets free bragging rights till the best birthday. My brothers and I (and cousins I guess) get very competitive.

I got sam a couple things. I got her a few morphe products (eyeshadow pallets and a brush set), a beautiful necklace, a few gift cards, and a Polaroid camera, including film.

I got oli a few video games, I also got him a necklace but it's more 'manly' than Sam's, a few sketchbooks and art supplies since hes been really into art lately, and a Polaroid camera also since hes been wanting one forever.

And as a conjoined gift, I got them a photo album of all of us. We have alot of pictures together and I just thought this was a perfect gift.

Logan and me usually team up for birthdays, and we did the same this year too, but he got them a few things himself. But the picture frame was both of us. A way to symbolise our friendship, siblinghood. We also got all of us matching bracelets, since we're that cool.

I was currently doing Sam's makeup while tabs does her hair because we wanted to surprise her.

When we were finished, we had her change into a red dress with black heels. We were having her look fancy because were going out for a birthday dinner at a very fancy restaurant.

Once sam was done getting ready, she helped us get ready also.

When me and my family go out to a fancy place, we match in black and red to look nicer. Most likely, my brothers will be wearing black, and depending, all the girls may be wearing red while the boys are wearing black. Violet was also coming with us. On birthdays or special occasions, my brothers get lenient of our clothing.

Once we finished getting ready, it was around 5:30p.m, so we began walking downstairs.

"Hello birthday girl" Jason said with a smile and hugged her. He was wearing all black, just as I thought.

"You girls look beautiful" he complimented us. We thanked him and waited for everyone else. We decided to do cake and presents when we get home.

One of Coltons friends, Erica, is babysitting Hope since we dont want her making a lot of noise and disrupt the people around us.We don't go to fancy places often, usually only for special occasions.

Once everyone was ready, we all loaded into the cars and drove off.
The restaurant was very crowded, making it a good thing we made reservations earlier.

Our waiter, Chase, was totally checking out Sam and my brothers and cousins were not happy. I honestly found the whole situation hilarious. He would stare at her and wink. She even got his number, which everyone was trying to have her rip it up and throw it away. Luckily, it was her birthday so she said she counted it as a present and it's rude to throw away a present. In the end, she got to keep the number.

Once everyone was finished with their meals, we got the bill, which was very expensive, and we left.

By the time we got home, Hope was already asleep so we paid Erica and she left. We had to stay quiet so we don't wake Hope up because that would be bad.

It was finally time for the presents. Oliver and sam sat on two chairs while everyone else stood around them.  The presents went in a line so they just went down the line.
Ours was last. We could tell they really loved their gifts. Especially the photo album.

"So" jason urged. "What gift is you favorite?"
Oli and sam look at each other and then turn back towards us.
"Well, you guys have already given us the best gift we could ever ask for. You give us love. You give us a family. You saved us. You saved Hope. You protect us. You spoil us too no end. You're our best friends. That is the best gift we could ever ask for. We love you and we appreciate everything. But this gift topped everything" Oli said. I admit it made my eyes water a little. We all tackled them in a huge group hug and they groaned.

"Our second favorite gift was the photo album"

Logan and I jumped up and began doing our happy gift while the others groaned.

"Fine but what was your third favorite?"

Im sorry this took so long lol. And I'm sorry for the crappy ending it sucks ik. I was going to update over the weekend but I forgot 😂😂 but I have spring break coming up on Friday so I'll hopefully be able to update some but idk what I'll be doing. Anywhooo.
