Raindrops were tapping on the windows as Jade and Nate sat inside his house on the couch only inches away from each other.

Silence filled the room jade never thought she would ever be in Nates house again and Nate was still completly caught off guard by her showing up out of no where.

"So your really pregnant Nate asked

Jade was looking down at her feet

She sighed.

"Yea I am." She told Nate keeping her eyes to the floor.

Nate turned facing her.

"What are you thinking....."

"I honstly don't know,"Jade said mustering up the courge to look at Nate.

"Are you going to keep it?"

Jade's eyes widened.

"What makes think I would get rid of it?" She asked.

Nate shrugged.

"I mean do you want to have my baby."

Jade cut her eyes at him.

"What  makes you think this is your baby?" Jade questioned him.

Nate raised his brow.

"Do you really think its Jacob's."

"There's a good chance it is his.' Jade told him.

"Does he even know about us and what we had?" Nate asked

Her eyes were looking around the room.

Nate slumped into the couch.

"So he still doesnt know about us and what we had."

Jade shook her head.

"No he doesn't know."

"Why not."

"Why didn't you tell me he was your boss?"

"I didn't know you were fucking him." Nate threw his hand up.

She narrowed her eyes at him.

"I only stared fucking him because you were fucking other bitches."

"Only once."

"That's all it took."

Jade's eyes started to fill with tears she fought the urge to cry.

Nate looked over at her instanly feeling regret and guilt.

He sat up and shifted closer to Jade.

He took a deep breath.

"I'm sorry if I could go change things..."

"I was nothing but a good woman to you, I loved you, was faithful and spent most of my life my family took you in."

"Jade i'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt you just things happened and what I did had nothing to do with you."

The sound of thunder flashed from the windows.

She said nothing as just sat there with her hands in her lap.

"So if the baby is mine how are we going to do things?"

"We will just have to figure things out."

He sighed.

Jade looked at him.

"Do you think maybe we can...."

Jade's phone ringed.

"One second," Jade said as she picked it up

Nate could tell by the face she made he already knew who it was.

She answered her phone.

"Yea i'm fine,I'm on my way home now."

Nate sat back rolling his eyes.

"I can do that instead."

"Ok see you in a bit ,"she said then hung up the phone.

Jade's eyes met Nate's.

"Well I got to go."she told him standing up.

Nate nodded not saying anything as he slumped down into couch while he watched her walk out the front door.
