"There's got to be some other way to get tickets— right?"
Lois shook her head, "It's a secret show, Scott. There's only one way, and it's a secret."
He sighed, pursing his lips together as he tried to figure out any other way to get tickets to the underground party. Scott hadn't been able to get any last night, because Jackson had creeped out the seller before anyone else got a chance to purchase some. It wasn't as if he had the amount of money to get them, anyway.
"There has to be another way," he muttered to himself as he wracked his brains to their core, "We have to go to that party."
"If Jackson's going, that means whoever's controlling him is probably going to be there." Stiles agreed, tapping his hands upon the steering wheel in a slight rhythm, blowing air past his lips in a raspberry sound. "This could be our only chance,"
"We have to find a way."
Nodding her head, Lois grabbed her back from the footwell of his jeep and threw it over her shoulder, beyond ready to jump out of the car the minute he parked. The quicker she got into school, the quicker that she would be able to ask Isaac to go to the party with her — just to get Matt off her back. She felt awful for lying to the boy about already having a date, considering that she actually didn't at the time, but she had panicked. Lois would have felt far worse if she had just blown him off with no excuse, even if that was what most teenagers did. She didn't want to go with him, but there was no way she would have been able to get out of it without lying about a date — which, was where Isaac came in.
