Mnemophobia ; fearing memories is a painful verture of a human. Memory loss is also another dark side of this fear.

🥀.

               Biting.

Frost nibbles under my chin. It crawls over my porcelain cheek, spreading widely as if someone tipped their cigarette on a barrel of gun powder. A bizarre high pitch rings followed by a light sizzling noise. I've heard it before. Somewhere. I can't recall it, but I sure do remember the color crimson exposed in front of me when I heard it.

More frost forms under my left eyelid contaminating my oil colored eyelashes. It surfaces over, and spills itself over my shut eye.

That's not the only thing I know about the noise right?

The frost continues to spread over my mouth.

                   "Wirt?"

                    I take a wild guess noticing. . . .

                    I didn't stutter. . . .

Then out of nowhere the noise cuts off sharp.

"Bill?", I whisper my heart weighting heavily by an invisible cord tangled down messily large weights. The glazy texture over my lips chips off as they part.

The ice bitter contaminated spider webs swims across my right cheek building up extraordinary floral, and snowflake designs that creep up over my eye freezing my sight instantly.

I can't stay frozen forever. I have to open my eyes.

                   So I did.

First I moved my eyeballs side to side while still shut then proceed to go up and down. All the glass paper over the middle is off. It tickles againts my frozen skin. I then take the next step, and open my right eye. Bits of ice trickle off. I do the same steps on the left and open it. Around me the first thing I see is blue. The entire space around me is a mix of different shades of blue. I open mouth. There's no water flowing in, odd. I watch a group of bubbles dancing up. Above a thick sheet of ice hovers over the neutral temperature of the water. The scene resembles ice over a pond. I glance around cracking the rest of the frost all over my body. A big ocean it seems.
