RE: Anomalies in Sector 5
At 1600 hours, the forcefield surrounding Pod 12 was breached. A large repel showed on the screen, activating the forcefield. At approximately 1605, a lower hull camera detected further movement (see attached footage). As you can see, the equipment was completely destroyed. One of the biologists observed a new species of creature just outside the pod. We dispatched a sub to bring one in for examination. The subject did not survive our initial examination. Will update further after subsequent dissection. Permission to eliminate if species prove hostile?
