Author's Note: Hey guys, I know I posted the last chapter yesterday, but I was too excited about writing what came next. Sooo, I decided to give you a little treat, and enjoy another. There may or may not be an additional character added to the story ;) Plus, as always, I try and add a little bit of cuteness and humor, so crack a smile, and enjoy a few laughs. ---Ekat =)

Alex’s P.O.V.

Before I could respond, Niall threw his arms around me, and started crying on my shoulder. Yeah, he’s an emotional guy, but I love it when guys aren’t afraid to show their true feelings.

“We’re having a baby boy!” I heard him say into my shoulder. I tightened by hold on him, and rubbed circles in his back. By this time, I had tears rolling down my face too.

“Your baby is as healthy as can be,” Gretchen said, bringing us back to reality. “You two are free to go whenever you want.”

“Wait, before you go, I have a question,” Niall said quickly. Gretchen looked surprised, which made me laugh. I guess she didn’t have too many fathers ask questions. “I read online that morning sickness is only supposed to last through the first trimester, but Alex is still experiencing it. Is this normal?”

“I must say Alex, I don’t know where you found this boy, but don’t let him go,” she joked before answering Niall’s question. “But to answer your question Mr. Horan, it’s perfectly normal. Some women even experience it through the entire pregnancy.”

“Great,” I said with a great amount of sarcasm, making Gretchen laugh.

“Don’t worry Alex,” Gretchen said. “With your medical history, it should go away within the next couple of weeks. If that’s all you need, I’ll leave you two be. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call.”

She left, and Niall pulled back, having the biggest smile on his face. He looked down, and gently rubbed my stomach with his hand. I’ve never seen him this happy.

“I take it you wanted it to be a boy,” I said, joking. He just looked down, but that smile never left his face. “Don’t worry Niall, I did too.”

He looked me in the eyes, and pushed our sets of lips together. You ever have a connection with somebody that just them being happy made you happy? Well that’s the type of connection I have with Niall. Not to be corny, but he lights up my world like nobody else. That’s right, I went there. As if on a timer, my phone started ringing, ruining the perfect moment between Niall and I. Both of us grunted as I took my phone out. I rolled my eyes when I saw the name of the caller.

“What Lou?” I asked in an annoyed tone.

“Don’t ‘What Lou?’ me,” Louis retorted. “Do you know the baby’s gender?”
