Miri's PoV
As I finish wandering through the house, I hear Izuku and his mom talking. I know I shouldn't eavesdrop, but who has ever resisted eavesdropping?
Their voices are muffled, and it sounds like Izuku wants OUT of this conversation.
Inko (Mrs. Mrs.Midoriya, Izuku's mom)- Your friend is nice
Izuku- Yeah I know, right? She even stood up for me when the pro heroes were scolding me!
Inko- The pro heroes scolded you!?
Izuku- Uh, never mind about that! He...
Inko- Is she your girlfriend?
Izuku- Mom! No!
Inko- Do you want her to be?
Izuku- What's for dinner?
Inko- Fish, now answer my question.
I decide to save Izuku.
I run into my room quickly and call out loud, "Izuku??"
Izuku- Gotta go mom!
Inko- This isn't over, Izuku.
"What is it?" He breathes a bit hard, he must have ran.
"Nothing, I just decided to save you from a whole load of embarrassment!"
His face burns, "You heard that?"
"Yeah. And to take our mind off of things, let's go eat fish!"
Izuku seems distracted during dinner.
Izuku's mom asks him, "Izuku, honey, why are you smiling at your fish?"
I had to try SO hard not to laugh. I lifted my phone to Mrs. Midoriya, pointing to the camera app, and asked her, "Permission?"
She nodded, and I think she was about to laugh too.

"Excuse me for not asking earlier, but what should I call you?" I asked Izuku's mom
"Oh just call me Inko." She said back
"Okay, Inko!"
