In a haze, Loki burst through the door as he muttered quick and incoherent words to himself. Finally, she was able to pick up on one sentence, "I need to get to Midgard."

"What!?" Summer exasperated. "No, you're not making sense, love. We can't go back there! You said yourself we can't trust them! The... the bad people have the world fooled! You've worked so hard for our kingdom here." She reminded him, the bad people being the Avengers she was never allowed to talk about.

Kingdom!?

He took one last look at her and ran. Ran as if his life depended on it. Summer scooped her little girl up in her arms as she ran after him, desperately pleading with him to wait. To her surprise, he entered an aircraft. Thankfully, the door didn't close in time and she was able to board it. She set Siv down and stormed over to her crazy husband. "What is going on with you!?"

He froze, only realizing now she managed to sneak on board with him. He sighed and continued to press buttons to get the aircraft in the air. "I don't know who you are, I don't know where I am, and I'm going to see my brother." He snapped, making her flinch and step back.

She nearly choked on air. Thor? He'll kill them! But she couldn't do anything as the aircraft unsteadily lifted into the air. In fear of everyone's safety, especially their daughter's, she went quiet, back to her submissive ways. She had to trust her husband because he knew what was best for her and the world.

Loki was confused when she went silent and watched out of his peripheral vision as she buckled the small girl into a seatbelt, then doing her own.

"Sam, you seeing this?" Bucky called over his shoulder, watching from the monitor as an aircraft drew near, coming in hot.

Moving closer to the monitor to get a better look, Sam asked, "it's not one of ours?"

He blinked. "No, I'm just curious if you can see." He resorted sarcastically with a roll of his eyes. "No it's not one of ours!"

"Yeah, whatever. Just cool it, grandpa." Sam shot back, not even taking his eyes off the monitor. "It looks like it's trying to land on the roof."

"Wow," was the muttered deadpan response. "Didn't realize I had Einstein's for a partner."

"Oh, you knew Einstein? I bet you two were best friends back in the day."

"I'm not that old you piece of shi-"

Bickering back and forth like children the whole way, they took the fastest route to the top of the building and gathered more Avengers along the way. With guns and weapons raised, they braced themselves as the aircraft landed, awaiting who or what to come out of it. The moment it made contact with the ground, the door opened. To everyone's surprise....

"Loki?" Thor exasperated, but made no moves to come any closer.

The moment Loki stepped off the landing, he dropped to his knees and rose his hands in the air. "Please, I mean no harm." He rasped, visibly trembling. "I need help. I-I don't remember anything. I just need to talk, Thor, please." He pleaded, taking everyone back. This had to be a trap, right?

Well, if he wanted to talk, it had to be a safer environment. They arrested him and led him to a more secure room inside the compound.

Summer watched from within the aircraft from her hiding place behind a seat, holding her daughter to her chest. She was conflicted what to do. She didn't want to take her daughter with her to investigate, but she didn't want to risk leaving her either.
