It took a couple more days, but Summer ultimately agreed to counseling. It was difficult at first. Getting information out of her was like pulling teeth. She was terrified out of her mind to talk about these things without Loki here.

It was ingrained in her brain that all of this may still be a set up. That maybe, he had a trick up his sleeve and he was just fooling everyone. Then he'd fool them all, take Summer back, and punish her for mentioning and even talking to the "bad people."

It took an additional four months for her to start to open up some more, which lead to the conversation they were having today.

"Do I love him still? I mean.... I don't know. If I see him again, I don't know what I'll feel." Summer sighed after she answered her counselor, Dr. Cyndie.

Dr. Cyndie was an extremely kind and intelligent lady. The Avengers hired the best of the best for Summer. Dr. Cyndie has worked with hundreds of humans and inhumans. However, this was her first case dealing with a love potion and mind control.

In just the four months Summer's been here, she's helped her through a lot of healing. She still had a long way to go, but there was progress.

With Dr. Cyndie's help, Summer has learned to not ask for everything, but to make decisions for herself. To use the bathroom when she felt like she needed to, to choose her own desired temperature for the shower, decide what she wanted to eat and when, and etc....

"I feel like, potion or not, a part of me will always love him. I married him, made a life with him, and had a daughter with him..."

"Do you wish to stop loving him?" Dr. Cyndie questioned, stopping her writing on a clipboard to peek above her glasses. "I noticed you're still wearing your ring."

She released a breathy laugh, though there was no humor behind it. "I can't take it off.... it's, umm...." she thought back to their 'wedding' day. Her finger hurt for weeks after that. "It's fused to my skin." She explained, quietly.

Summer shook her head and taped back into reality. "I don't know. I want to hate him, and part of me does, but.... at the end of the day, apparently none of it was his fault.... he's a victim too.... but he might be a different man when he comes back and want nothing to do with me or Siv. Gosh, Siv was his everything. And I thank you for counseling my daughter too, I just don't know how to answer all her questions."

"And that's perfectly fine, Summer." Dr. Cyndie encouraged with a small, comforting smile. "You don't know how to answer some of your own questions either, and that's okay. You're in a very unique situation. If it helps, have her write down the questions she asks you and we can go over it together."

She smiled back and noticed the clock. "Thank you, I appreciate that. I'll see you next week." She said as she stood and made her way back to her room.

The team had been incredible to her in the past four months. Not only did they provide her with a place to stay in the Avengers tower, but an amazing counselor, a nanny when needed, friendship, and of course Thor was an amazing uncle. She's slowly over time learned to.... almost trust them. She still had her moments.

Things were iffy in the beginning of Siv and Thor's relationship. Siv was shy around new people, being she was never really introduced to many people besides her family, maids, cooks, and guards.

Summer thought back to a couple of months ago when Thor first brought up his concerns to her. She wasn't sure at first why he was so consumed with Siv liking him, but she came to realize he just wanted to feel just some sort of normalcy, just as she did.
