1k READS!? Thank y'all so much!!!
Update: 132,000 reads 🥹

I just wanted to take a second to thank all of you. I wanted to write this book to tap into the dark side of Loki. He is a villain after all, no matter how much people love him. He's a bad guy- a murderer, but somehow a lovable one?

I was so excited with the idea of a "dark Loki" book, inspired by so many dialogue prompts and what not, I decided- screw it! I'll write it! However, I didn't think anyone would read this book. I thought I'd get hate for it honestly lol! (People are very protective of Loki, okay? 😂)

I love the lovable side of Loki, but I just wanted something different? So I wrote one myself, kinda more so for my entertainment and to get the ideas out of my head, and to see if I could even write something that dark. I never had before. I didn't expect anyone to read it.

BUT HERE YA'LL ARE!

I just wanted to thank you for reading. Well, not only for reading, but for supporting me and all of the wonderful comments. It's really easy for me to get discouraged and your comments really keep me motivated to keep writing, so thank you sm.

Alright, sorry for babbling on! I'm just so appreciative and I love hearing from you guys. Even if you have any ideas for this book! I'd love to hear them!

Please don't forget to comment and vote!

When is a monster not a monster?
Oh, when you love it.

It's been a few weeks and Loki was healed, feeling better then ever. It took Summer nearly "losing" Loki for her to realize she'd be completely lost without him. It took that to realize that she needed him. At least, that's what the potion was telling her.

They were married now. The idea of one made her weary, but married couples do married couple activities. Didn't she owe that to her husband?

Loki scooted over closer to Summer's side of the bed, not fully awake yet, in a sleepy daze to find her. When he didn't feel her, he scooted closer, his grabby hands reaching out to feel where she was. When he didn't feel her again, he frowned and opened his eyes.

She was gone.

His heart sunk and he ripped the blankets off of him to search for her.

He didn't have to go far, once he felt the gentle breeze coming from the open balcony doors, he realized she was out there. He sighed in relief and dragged one of the heavier blankets with him to the doors.

He smiled when he caught sight of her sitting there with her knees tucked up to her chest, in his shirt that was several sizes too big for her, as her eyes skimmed across the moons, planets, and countless stars in the clear sky.

"What are you doing out here so late?"

She jumped at the sound of his sleepy voice and whipped around to face him. A sliver of fear gripped her heart. She knew she wasn't supposed to go anywhere without asking him, but she didn't want to disturb his sleep. "I'm sorry, I couldn't sleep. I didn't want to wake you." She shamefully admitted.

He chuckled under his breath and made his way over to her. Silently, he sat down next to her and draped the blankets over them both. "It's alright, love. I was just worried is all."

She relaxed, relieved he wasn't mad at her. "We can go back to bed if you want to." She offered.

He shook his head and gently brought her in to lean against his side. "I don't mind staying out here with you for a while."
