Sally's pov

*Knock* *Knock*

I looked at my door, with red puffy eyes. I could hear people yelling down stairs, but not the usual yelling, but angry yelling, with cursing and insults being thrown around. I sat up and wiped my face, and prepared myself for whoever was at the door. "Come it!" I croaked. The door clicked and slowly swung open, to revealed Mr. Splendorman. He bent down and stepped through the door way, and quietly closed it. He sat next to me on my bed, and pulled me into a hug. "Sally, don't cry darling... tell me, what exactly happened with Hoodie?" He asked. His voice was higher pitched then Mr. Slenderman's voice or Hoodie's or many of the guys here.

"I found a doll in the woods and Hoodie wouldn't let me take it. Is he going to be in trouble?" I asked, I didn't want Hoodie to get in trouble because of my actions. I wasn't angry at him and i didn't think it was his fault, but I wanted to know what would happen to him. Mr. Splendorman, looked at me, stuck in his own thoughts. It was unsettling, with his wide smile and beady eyes, being fixated on you. He was torn away from his thoughts and answered my question. "Slenderman is no fool, he will know why Hoodie did what he did. Remember, Hoodie only has your best interest in mind, and Hoodie will apologize to you. Believe me." He said in a matter-of-fact tone. It made me smile. "Now what did this doll look like?"

I smiled slightly, not at his question, but about the yelling down stairs quieting down. I hated the angry yelling and fights. Mr. Slenderman hated it more then me though, to a point where if you where about to have a fist fighting with one another, you were forced to stay downstairs for how ever long Mr. Slenderman thought was necessary. From what I understand, every hit equaled one hour in the basement, and the basement was not a joke. It was damp, cold, empty and was unnerving. Everyone hates it, so we have less fights then before the rule was put in place.

"He was old, and dirty, and smelled bad. But I wanted to fix him, you know? He just seemed so important to me, like he needed me.." I said, trying to explain myself without making it sound weird. He nodded his head, and his smile grew more, as if that would still be possible. "Well where is it now?" He asked curiously. "I dropped him." I said, disappointed in myself for letting him go so easily, as I went to grab my teddy bear, Mr. D. I held him close to my chest and a weight was lifted off my bed. Splendorman stood up quickly, almost hitting him head against the ceiling.

"Well, where did you drop him?" He asked. I wasn't totally sure on what he was going to do, but he had a habit of giving random surprises when me or Lazari are upset. "Somewhere in the woods.. Why?" I cocked my head to the side, and he placed his hand on my head. His hands were long and thin, they were like skin hanging on bone, with nerves and veins peaking out. As odd as it sounds, his hands, along with Mr. Slenderman always seemed to hold the sweetest intentions when I touch them, and that is what I loved about them. They had only ever had good intentions for us, even if the punishments for not following the rules seemed to be intense.

He chuckled and patted my head softly. "Don't worry to much, darling. It is nothing you need to worry about." He said, as he moved his hand from the top of my head to his side and slowly left my room. When he left, I was once again alone in my thoughts. 'I wonder what he was going to do.. why is it so quiet down stairs?' I thought to myself as I stepped out into the hallway. It was a large hallway, that could make anyone feel small, no matter how tall they were. It had old paintings of everyone, from where they were younger and occasionally a framed picture of one of my drawings were placed in the hallways.

I went down the stairs, and everyone was doing what ever they had been doing before me and Hoodie came home. Jane was reading her book, "50 Shades Of Grey". I always wonder what the book was about. She would always refuse to let me read her books. Ben was sitting in front of the TV, playing some racing game, while Masky sat near the opened window, smoking his cigarette and looking out side. Smile dog was sprawled out on the floor sleeping, and I assumed the rest must have been in the kitchen.
