Sally's pov

I walked over to Hoodie's room and knocked on his door. No answer. Mr. Slenderman said that if I knocked, he would answer. I tried again, and still no answer.. I put my hand on his door knob and turned it to the side. I slowly pushed it open and stepped in.

His room was cleaner then I thought. He only had one pile of dirty clothes and his closet was full of other clean clothes and there was barely anything on the floor. His shoes and his mask were the only things. Next to his bed, was a photo of him and someone, smiling in a picture together. I felt like I should know the person, but I couldn't remember him.

He had thick sideburns with hair flipped to the side. He wore a plaid shirt with regular blue jeans. Hoodie didn't have his mask on him and he wore an orange shirt with a blue jacket on it. He looked younger, probably 18, or something. He looked happy, now he looked so tired and sad..t hen I looked at him.

He was laying on his stomach, with his arm above his head and his legs spread slightly. He didn't even bother taking his vans off. They were all dirty and torn up with blood at the front of them. Then I noticed his snoring. It was quiet, and this was one of the few times he slept in here. I would always see him asleep in the dining room or on the couch. I was glad that he was asleep in here for once.

I was watching him sleep. I probably looked creepy doing that and then I started daydreaming. 'I wonder what Mr. Splenderman is up to.. Maybe lunch is ready. I wonder what Hoodie is dreaming about', "Sally, what are you doing?" Hoodie said in a faint and droopy voice, and it ripped me away from my thoughts. He was still lying on his stomach, but he was awake and looking at me.

I took notice of things about him that I had never noticed. His eyes, they were a grayish blue and he had bags under them. "I just wanted to apologize for acting up.. and I'm sorry if I woke you." He dropped his head back on the pillow and closed them again. "It's fine.. don't worry about it. And I should be sorry for yanking your arm so hard." He said, still facing me. I thought he was silly for thinking that he yanked me.

"It's okay, I don't think you yanked me at all." He smiled at me and sat up. I backed up from him, giving him space to stand up. He threw his feet to the side of his bed and rubbed his face. I bent down and picked up his mask. It was black and had what looked like stitches or painted on frowny face.

I handed it to Hoodie and looked back at the picture. "who is this?" I asked, He looked at the picture, and looked at me. "You don't recognize him?" I glanced at the photo, trying to remember him, and shook my head. Hoodie frowned at me and turned away from me. " It's Masky... without his mask.. That's all." He said in a pessimistic voice. He stood up and put the mask on and walked over to the door.

He opened it and let me go through first. We went down the hallway in silence. It was comforting... I walked down the stairs and jumped down the 2nd to last step. Just then, Mr. Splenderman came through the door with something hidden behind his back.

I smiled, and so did he, " Sally~ I got you a gift~" He said in the voice that always made me laugh. He always told me that my laugh was contagious. He bent down in front of me, and by now everyone in front of the stairway, was looking at us. "Close your eyes darling." He said, with his cheeks red. I giggled and put my hands over my eyes.

"Alright dear, open them." I removed my hands and gasped at what was in his hands. It was the doll that me and Hoodie found! I jumped up and down and grabbed the doll. I quickly hugged Mr. Splenderman and ran up to my room. I heard Hoodie say something, but I focused more on the doll.
