New Girl

Austin's P.o.V

I walked outside to the courtyard for lunch and sat down at the table with my brothers, Sonny was the only one of us not there, only because he was off somewhere doing what Sonny's do best. Mikey and Riley were talking about whatever Mikey was showing him on his phone. I relaxed my elbows on my knees and scanned the courtyard, I spotted the principal pointing a beautiful girl in the direction just past us and got off the table and walked over to him.

"I can show her around if you'd like me to." I offered

She looked at me and gave a shy grin, I flashed a smile and he nodded, I looked at the girl and held my hand out.

"Hi, I'm Austin." I said

"I'm Denice." She said shaking my hand

"Nice to meet you." I said grinning

I walked around the school with her and showed her where her classes would be

"I appreciate you showing me around." She said softly

"Sure, no problem." I said putting my hands in my pockets

"I didn't realize how big this school was,its a lot more different than my last, it didn't have such good looking guys." She stated

"Hah that was no fun was it?" I joked

"Not at all." She responded

"Where are you here from?" I asked

"LittleBrook." She said

"Ohh yeah I know where that is." I lied

"Really?"

"No." I said

"Oh, well it's maybe 50 miles from here hesdkng West."

"Ahh okay, good to know." I said nodding

"How long have you been going to school here?" She asked

"Its just my first year in the high school."

"Awh that's cute." She said smiling

"I guess so." I said looking at her

"Well, do you like it here?"

"Yeah its a really nice place, not to strict and not to free." I answered

We walked back out to the courtyard and I seen Sonny and the others talking. I avoided that side of the courtyard and showed her the other end, we sat at a table and talked until the bell rang.

"It was nice meeting you Austin, maybe we'll see each other later." She said smiling

"Well, you could give me your number and that's a guaranteed way to know we'll see each other." I flirted

"You're right." She said

I handed her my phone and she put her number in it, she handed it back and kissed my cheek before walking off. I smiled and put my phone in my pocket.

"Well who was that pretty lady?" Sonny asked making me jump

I turned around and sighed as I seen it was him.

"No one, just this girl."

"Is she up for grabs or do you call her?" He asked

"This one is mine." I said getting up

"I respect that." He said nodding his head.

"Where were you earlier? Left all of us hanging and shit." I said hitting his chest

"Just was out taking care of things." He said dryly

"Sure." I scoffed

"No I mean real shit this time." He said

"Whatever you say Sonny." I said, teasing him

"I can't stand your ugly ass yo!" He said pushing me playfully

I laughed and we walked into the school building, as we walked through the halls we heard a few girls talking about Mikey and slowed down so we could hear them. It wasn't anything bad, so we picked up our pace and walked over to Riley, I slammed the locker and he glared at me.

"What do you two want?" He snarled

"Why so angry?" Sonny questioned

"Nothing bro, I'll talk to you about it later." He said walking past us

Sonny and I looked at one another and shrugged it off, we walked to gym class and waited for the coach to come. He finally did and made us dress out and run 7 laps around the basketball court, this is why I'm glad I played soccer.
