"Nat there is no way in Hell the Jaguars are going to the Superbowl!" Dillan laughed.

"Hey, a girl can dream!"

"You guys won one game last season!"

"Exactly we were the worst, so we get the best draft pick!"

"Nat you're going to need a lot more than the first pick to make the Jags good at football."

"It's not our fault that we can't remember what sport we're supposed to be playing mid-game!"

We both just busted out laughing. Dillan and I loved to talk sports. Especially football and he loved to pick on my Jags. In his defense Jags fans pick on ourselves. We have very low expectations no matter how much we pretend this will be the year.

"You know flag football tryouts are just around the corner," Dillan told me while we grabbed some free weights to do some walking lunges.

"I know I am so excited! It is the only reason why I like this school," I said sarcastically.

"You and me both! You better be trying out for my team. We need your hands."

"Dillan I am honestly offended you think I'd betray you like that. Of course, I am trying out for your team! Besides, you think Emma, Sam, or Kyle would let me try out for the other team."

"That's true we'd kill you!"

I laughed trying to cover my internal panic at how true that statement was.

"If you and Sam stay out of trouble then we may have a chance to win the championship this year!"

I still felt bad about that. Last year Sam and I got a little too drunk, per usual with us, and decided to go skinny dipping off the pier. Little did we know that the bed of the ocean was covered in sharp oysters. We cut up our feet so bad we had to get stitches. The next day was our flag football championship game. Sam was our star running back. She was so agile on her feet that she could make you fall flat on your ass in one juke. I was our top wide receiver. If you threw the ball near me, I was going to catch it or make you regret trying to defend me. Sam and I weren't healed fast enough for us to play the championship game and it almost certainly resulted in us getting our asses handed to us.

"You know how bad we still feel about that! I would never do that to you guys again!"

"I know Nat. Don't worry about it," he smiled warmly at me, "I could never stay mad at you! You're like a sister to me."

"And you're like a sister to me too Dillan," I smirked at him, and he playfully hit my shoulder.

"Come on it's time for your favorite exercise,"Dillan said sarcastically and I rolled my eyes.

"I hate squats. Actually, scratch that, I hate doing squats with you!" I glared at him.

"Oh, come on Nat. You know I am the reason you have the best ass out of all of us!" I rolled my eyes harder.

"Your compliments mean nothing when my legs are so sore the next day I trip over my own feet!" He chuckled.

"Come on! I'll spot you."

Dillan always pushed me when we worked out together. It felt great but he always had to spot me because he always made me try to rep my max to which I normally could barely do one rep before he had to lift the bar off me. Though it did make me stronger.

"Alright, we'll start off with a weight I know you don't even need me to spot you with." Oh, thank God because it was always so awkward when he had to get behind me and so close to me. I started doing the squats from hell and I couldn't help but feel like eyes were watching me. I obviously knew that some people would look over at me while I did my squats. Another reason why I hated squats. But the eyes I felt on the back of me sent a shiver down my spine. When I finished, I put the bar back and debated if I should turn around and look for the eyes. I gave in wanting to know and I realized my mistake the second I turned around.
