~3rd Person POV~

Alina trembled in fear as she raised her palms looking at the people opposite from them with hopes that something might interrupt them.

"You can't do this Alina..." Circe said with fear laced in her voice.

Alina closed her eyes and a blast of powers went out of her hands knowing that she'd have to do it. Screams were heard as she slowly opened her eyes to see that her friends were now flying into the air and in slow motion falling flat on the ground unconscious. Her breath hitched as she looked at her father watching the scene with pleasure. He ruffled her hair and smiled at her.

"You truly are my own flesh and blood."

Alina shivered as a drop of blood reached her cheek. She raised her hand and touched the drop of blood. Tears threatened to fall and her face was of worry. She felt a part of her break seeing that she had just did that. Her face dusted and had drops of blood on her. Her gaze suddenly turned to a hooded figure in the dark with her eyes shining with the color of blood.

Shad didn't notice it yet and suddenly, Circe and Angela soon started fading.

"What are you--?" Alina looked at her father seeing that she was fading as well as she becomes one of the crystals.

His eyes turned bright red. He levitated and a red aura was surrounding Shad. His clothing changed into something more scary. His armour increased and had covered him up more. Red smoke covered him and soon a beast was infront of us. He was in the middle of a dragon.

"Yes! This is what I have been waiting for eons!"

Triumph was on his face as Asch stared at him with fear as his body was slowly regaining consciousness. The others were still unconcious, unable to see the transformation that had occured. Asch lifts himself up with one knee up and the other on the ground. His face mustered up with dirt and his clothes tattered. Asch looked up at Shad and saw him staring at him. Shad begins to chuckle at him and soon the dragon was infront of him.

"You dare stand up again to face me unworthy prince?" Shad said looking at him.

"Look at yourself in the mirror and see who is unworthy." Asch spat at him.

Shad stared with fiery eyes. His expression was of disgust. Asch wishes that he doesn't have to fight this being alone as he was not sure if Shad was a being at all.

"Witty yet unkind." Shad said out of the blue.

The winds started to pick up and the sky soon darkened before their eyes. Flashes of light can be seen but none of it's liquid fell as if awaiting a presence to appear.

"You have forgotten who you are, Shad."

A voice was heard. Different from all the voices they both heard.
In the distance, they notice a hooded figure, watching them.

"Your powers were given for a reason. Yet you desire for more."

Shad filled with anger sends a firey blaze to end the hooded figure.

"No!" Asch yelled but failed miserably as he fell to the ground, reminding himself he was weak.

As soon as Shad sent the blaze, the area where the hooded figure was and it's trees were burnt down. Shad's eyes widened at the sight that was left. The hooded figure was long gone but the hooded remained burnt.
