My eyes fluttered open and everything was blurry. I move my head to the side and saw a man standing at the opening of the cave. I sighed and my vision adjusted and I sat up. I coughed out. I felt liquid on my palm. I opened my palm and saw blood. I gasped. I cover my mouth as tears started falling while looking at the blood plastered on my palm.
"W-Who?. "I cried.
I heard footsteps come near and I look up. He placed his hand on my cheek and hugged me.
" It's okay... "He said.
I cried.
" I--I failed... I'm S-sorry.. Another died because of ----. "
He holds my shoulders and wipes my tears. He gave me a sympathetic smile.
" It's not your fault.... "He said.
" You're never anyone's fault. You've done nothing wrong... "He said.
" But.. "
" Look Y/n, You're not what you think you are... Now, tell me what you can remember but I promise, I'll be here to believe it. "He said.
I sighed. I nodded.
