You Ran Away

~°Garroth's POV°~

We were now running. Aphmau and Emmalyn were running to Y/n who opened some kind of gate to another realm. She looked at us as the veins nearly consumed all her skin and jumped in.

"What do we do now?!" I asked yelling.

The portal had an effect on us. The clouds were darker and there was a storm coming. Thunder and lightning clashed together. The winds were tougher to handle. Even Aphmau looked scared.

"We have to follow her!" I yelled.

Aphmau then held my arm. I looked at her in question.

"It's too dangerous!" Aphmau yelled.

"I won't stand losing a  Y/n!" I said

"Brother!" I heard a voice yell.

I turned around and saw two men and a woman on horses. One had a bare chest and one had armor on. It was Aaron, Zane and Katelyn.

"It's too dangerous to enter the portal without magic!" Zane said.

"Is that why it's causing a storm?" Emmalyn asked.

"What do you think?" Aaron said sarcastically.

"We have to get Y/n!" I yelled.

"Garroth... We'll find a way to her.. We can't just jump in. Heck, we don't even know where we'll ever end up." Aphmau said.

I looked down. They will not stop me from getting Y/n back. I looked up at them.

"We can all go together with the right amount of magic." Emmalyn said.

I looked at the portal and made a run for it.

"Garroth! Wait!" I heard the others yell.

I was running towards it. I was ready to face the consequences to just get her back. Out of the blue, the portal collapsed. It blew up causing me to fly in the air as it exploded. I hit the cold ground in agony. I groaned as I felt some parts of my body being sore due to the rough landing. My vision became blurry.

"Garroth you idiot!"

A few hours later...

"What in the hell were you thinking Garroth!?" Hunter yelled.

I groaned in pain as I looked at them. All of them were disappointed, upset and angry. Some of them gave me sympathy. Well.. That's good I guess.

"Going into an undetermined portal will cost you your life! That wasn't just a normal portal you were trying to enter Garroth! That was a black magic portal! Did you even use that big brain of yours?!" Hunter yelled.

"I didn't... Know.." I said as I made myself comfortable on the bed.

"You didn't know?! HOW ON EARTH DID YOU NOT KNOW?! Once a portal gives a reaction to its surroundings, Its not a good portal at all! Emmalyn told you everything about it the last time we had a briefing of the subject." Hunter said unamused.
