Chapter 21

The day has arrived. Like every year, on July 10th we go to the school camp. This is where we go canoeing and camping. The bad thing about these activities is that the monitors always choose the couples. Last year, I went with Tifanny and a friend of hers, I didn't have such a good time.

This morning...
When I finished packing, I went down to have breakfast and to say goodbye to my grandmother.
"Good morning, Grandma."
"Good morning, Betty. How did you sleep?" she asked.
"Very well, although I'm a little tired. "
"Have a good breakfast and you'll get more strength. I hope you have a good time there.
"Thank you, the same to you. "I thanked her.

I left the house and got on the bus. On the way out I met Anna and her followers and this is what they said to me:
"Betty! We're going to have a great time at camp, aren't we," Anna asked me with a smile.
"Yes, of course. "I nodded.
"How is Mark?" said Tifanny.
"He's fine, look here he comes. "I said.

Tifanny ran to him and they talked for a long time.
When I got to class there was no one there because apparently we had to wait downstairs for the school bus. I went downstairs and joined the others. Everyone had someone next to them, I had to go alone.
