Chapter 13 : Riansh 1

Riansh were in the car and there was a silence prevailing for a long time.

Both were trying to start a conversation. The people who were talking continuously an hour back were now sitting silent.

Finally they decided to break the silence, together,

Riansh: Vansh/Riddhima...

They looked at eachother and again together said,

Riansh: Tum bolo...
[You say]

They passed a smile to eachother, Vansh gestured her to speak,

Riddhima: Main ye puch rahi thi tumhara business kaise chal raha hai?
[I was asking how is your business going?]

Vansh: Business toh bohot acha chal raha hai aur kaise nahi chalega VR ka business jo hai.
[Business is going really well and how will it not afterall it is VR's business.]

Riddhima rolled her eyes and said,

Riddhima: Self obsessed🙄

Vansh laughed.

Vansh: Tum batao tumhara jewellery ka business kaise chal raha hai?
[You say how is your jewellery business going?]

Riddhima: It is going really well but also kyunki mere employees bhi bohot ache hai.
[It is going really well also because my employees are also really good.]

This time Vansh rolled his eyes seeing his Mahan(great) friend.

Vansh: so modest

Riddhima: It is definitely better than being self obsessed.

Vansh: yeah whatever

Riddhima laughed and after a few moments even Vansh joined.
There was actually nothing to laugh about it but still being like any other friends they laughed with eachother for the lamest reason.

Riddhima: Waise hum jaa kaha rahe hai, pure 30 minutes se hum without destination ghoom rahe hai.
[Where are we going BTW, from the last 30 minutes we are traveling without destination.]

Vansh: "Focus on the journey, not the destination" sweetheart aur waise bhi jab hum dono saath ho toh journey bhi Kitna sunder lagta hai.
["Focus on the journey, not the destination" sweetheart and anyways when we are together the journey is very beautiful.]

Riddhima's mind voice:
Is this guy okay. Yeh wahi humare college wala Vansh haina? Is he trying to flirt with me? Anyways let's go with the flow.

Riddhima: Of course why not. Sahi logon ke saath har ek journey sunder hi lagti hai.
[Of course why not. With the right people all the journeys are beautiful only.]

Vansh: Exactly, aur iss situation Main ek bohot hi sahi insaan ke saath hun jo bohot sunder hai and I am sure yeh journey aur destination bhi bohot sunder hogi.
[Exactly , and in this situation I am with a very right person who is very beautiful and I am sure both the journey and destination will be beautiful.]

Saying this he looked at Riddhima who was already looking at him shocked.

Riddhima's mind voice:
What the hell is wrong with him. Yeh woh Vansh ho hi nahi sakta. Woh wala Vansh kisi ladki ko bhaav hi nahi deta tha aur jisko deta tha ya toh woh uska dost tha ya ussko usse kuch kaam tha. Lekin fir bhi issne kabhi kisi se flirt nahi ki thi.
Mujhe lag raha tha ki 5 saal baad milne ke baad yeh theek se baat karega bhi ya nahi yaha toh yeh banda flirt kar raha hai. Matlab chal kya raha hai.
[What the hell is wrong with him. This cannot be the college's Vansh at all. That Vansh never gave special attention to any girl and if he gave either they were his friends or he had some work with them. But still he never flirted with any of them.
I was thinking after 5 years will he even talk to me nicely but here this guy is flirting with me. What is happening.]

Vansh's mind voice:
Aww she is so shocked seeing me flirt with her. I don't actually blame her, I mean I have never acted like this before. After going to Mumbai I realized she has a special place in my heart. I don't want to rush things because I am not quite sure about these feelings.
My sole purpose for attending the wedding was meeting her again and now when I have met her a little healthy flirting doesn't do any harm.

Riddhima: okay then let's concentrate on the beautiful journey but we also need a destination now. I am bored.

Vansh: Okay toh kaha Jaana hai batau
[Okay where do you want to go?]

Riddhima: Anywhere jaha pe Shanti mile aur zyaada bheed na ho
[Anywhere where there is peace and not too many people.]

Vansh: Okay chalo chalte hai
[Okay let's go]

Riddhima: kaha?
[Where]

Vansh: Patience sweetheart patience

Riddhima: Tum jaante ho mujhme Kitna patience hai and what is with your sweetheart
[You know how much patience I have and what is with your sweetheart]

Vansh: you will have to keep for little patience and I will call you sweetheart because I want to.

Riddhima: huh fine.🙄
