It was raining heavily and their car have not been moving for a while now on the busy road. Chaeyoung was already closing her eyes as she was scared to see the surrounding. Jungkook on the other hand, was holding her hand tight while he tried to contact Jimin.

The elder man and Jennie invited the two for their ballroom themed wedding that evening and it seemed like they will not make it for the dance later.

"Hello, Jimin hyung.", Jungkook greeted. "Hyung, I'm so sorry. Chaeyoung and I might not be able to get there on time. We're stuck on the road and it's raining here.", he informed.

"Oh, it's okay then. How's Chaeyoung?", Jimin asked out of concern.

Jungkook looked at his wife and smiled faintly, "She's alright, hyung."

"That's good then. If you guys couldn't make it here, it's also fine. We can meet up another time. I didn't expect it would rain this bad too. Jennie was also worried about Chae, she said you two don't have to come here if it's distressing for her. We understand you guys, Jungkook.", Jimin said.

Among their friends, almost all of them knew about Chaeyoung's phobia of thunder since Jungkook told them about it. He told them so that if she hangs out with them and he is not around, there will be other people to watch over her.

"Thanks, hyung. I'm not really sure too when we will get out of this heavy traffic. I guess you guys won't see us dancing on your ballroom floor tonight.", Jungkook said as he felt Chaeyoung tightened her grasp on his hand. "Congratulations again on your wedding, hyung. Tell Jennie noona we will send your wedding present straight to your house later.", he added before they end the call.

"Cupcake, are you okay?", Jungkook asked Chaeyoung right after the call.

"I'm okay...", Chaeyoung replied with her eyes still closed.

"Taejoon, how far are we from the venue?", Jungkook asked their driver at the front.

"It's half an hour if it's not raining but now that it's raining like this, it could take up to an hour, sir.", Taejoon said as he checked the GPS screen.

A small thunder noise came after that making Chaeyoung's hand trembling at it.

"Taejoon, change of plan. Drive us home and make sure to be careful, okay?", Jungkook instructed.

"We're going home?", Chaeyoung asked as she opened her eyes and looked straight at Jungkook.

He nodded calmly, "I've told Jimin hyung we couldn't make it for the wedding. The rain doesn't seem to stop anytime soon, I don't want to ruin their schedule and I certainly don't want to force you to go in this kind of weather."

"But the dance...", Chaeyoung pouted as she said it.

"Maybe next time-"

"We practiced it though...", she cut him off, no longer care of the thunder rumbling outside.
