It was a few days after the birthday party that Mitsuki finally decided to step up and do something; as the last few missions now Boruto and Sarada had been acting strange with eachother.
So one night; without letting Boruto know, Mitsuki had asked Sarada to meet up with him at the local park.
She did.
"So what's up Mitsuki?"
Mitsuki was then suddenly in her face until they noses were almost touching.
Sarada flinched.
Mitsuki watched and studied her at first before narrowing his eyes after a while and saying: "Boruto is mine, you understand me?"
"Eh?" Sarada blinked in confusion: "What are you talking about?"
"You like Boruto don't you?"
"What? As a friend and teammate, of course I do."
"No, I mean the other like."
Sarada suddenly went red in the cheeks and she darted her eyes as she started to stammer: "L...Li...Like him? That way? Of course not. He is a goofball, never listens to orders, doesnt know his left from his right...-"
Mitsuki listened in silence and a glare.
"No I don't like Boruto." Sarada shook her head.
"You sure?" Mitsuki asked.
"Sure."
Then is suddenly dawned on Sarada: "You...like Boruto in that way, don't you Mitsuki?"
Now it was Mitsuki's turn to go red in the face as his eyes widen...
