"So that's what happened..?" She asked, sitting on the hospital bed.

"Yes.." He replied, sobbing silently while forcing a smile.

"Hey.. don't cry!" She comforted, starting to panick a little.

She stared at the boy, his grey-blue eyes glistening with pain.

"I'm sorry for hurting you like this.." She said softly, causing the boy to look her straight in the eyes.

"You did the right thing. I can't imagine the courage it would've taken you."

"I can't imagine either.." She whispered, hugging her pillow tight.

"Princess.." Draco started.

"You really don't remember anything..?" He asked, facing (Y/n).

"I'm sorry.. I don't." (Y/n) replied, feeling guilty for not remembering who, apparently, was her boyfriend.

"You've been telling me the story for days.. I don't think it's going to work, Draco."

"It has to.. I can't lose you.." He said as his voice cracked, causing (Y/n)'s heart to ache in pain.

A knock came from the door as a nurse came walking in.

"Excuse me? Visit time is over." She said, looking at Draco.

"Alright, thank you." He sighed, getting up from the chair which was placed next to the hospital bed.

He glimpsed at (Y/n) one last time before closing the door, peeking through the small crack.

He could see her shutting her eyes as if trying to remember.

But it was no use.

"How is she?"

"She still can't remember anything." Draco said, mopy looking down.

"Not even you?"

"No."

The girl gave a weak sigh and turned to the other two boys behind him.

"Harry, are you sure there's no spell to fix this?"

"I'm afraid not, Mione."

Hermione was brought into the ginger boy's arms as he gave her a little squeeze.

"Oh, Ron.. what will we ever do without her.." She sobbed quietly into his chest.

Harry looked back and forth between Draco and Ron and Hermione.

"I just wished she could know we're sorry." Harry murmured under his breath, Ron nodding along.

"It's no use, Potter.. she's gone." Draco suspired, walking away from the three.

The golden trio watched his back as he slowly walked away, steps heavying by the second.

"We have to do something." Harry said.

"For Ma- Draco.." He continued. "And for (Y/n)."

The three of them, with new found determination, all smiled at each other, and one thing became clear.

It didn't matter that she was a Riddle.

It didn't matter she was a horcrux.

What mattered was that she was still their brave, caring, and magical friend.

-----

"Any luck?" Brainstorming, the golden trio were sat at the Weasley's, in Ron's room.

"Afraid not." Harry replied, placing down the book on the table.

The three of them had just finished reading possibly half the library of wizarding books.

"Mione? Anything?" Ron asked.

She shook her head in response.

The three sat there in utter silence, not knowing what to do.

"I'm afraid magic might not be able to do anything." Hermione exhaled, collapsing onto the table.

"There has to be something!" Harry exclaimed, trying to cheer her up.

"Hey guys.." Ron started, though trailing off and shaking his head.

"What is it, Ron?" Hermione asked, shooting her head up from the desk.

"Never mind, it's a stupid idea."

"Just say it! At this point, anything is worth a shot."

"What if.." He trailed, cautious of his wording.

"..we can try sparking back her memory by bringing her places?"

Harry and Hermione shot each other a glance, Ron watching them carefully.

"That's not a bad idea.."

"Yes!" Ron cut Harry off.

"..if she wasn't stuck in a hospital bed." He continued.

"Oh.. right.." He continued.

The three best friends sighed again, prepared to give up.

"What if.. what sparks her memory isn't somewhere.." Hermione suddenly said.

Harry looked at her in confusion at first, but then he caught on.

"It's something..! Mione, you're a genius!"

-----

"Mister? You may go see her." The nurse said.

Draco thanked her and knocked lightly on the door.

He walked in the room, eyes locking with (Y/n).

"Good morning, Draco." She smiled.

"Morning pri- (Y/n)." He corrected himself.

She smiled at him in response, still sitting on her bed, covering her legs.

Draco sat down on the chair, breathing heavily.

"So.. remember anything?" He asked.
