"Mister? You may go see her." The nurse said.

Draco thanked her and knocked lightly on the door.

He walked in the room, eyes locking with (Y/n).

"Good morning, Draco." She smiled.

"Morning pri- (Y/n)." He corrected himself.

She smiled at him in response, still sitting on her bed, with a blanket up til her waist.

Draco sat down on the chair, breathing heavily.

"So.. remember anything?" He asked.

"No.. sorry." (Y/n) replied.

"It's fine. How was your day?"

"Good. And you?" She replied.

"Good." Though clearly lying, (Y/n) didn't bother ask him what was wrong.

She knew very well deep down this 'stranger' was acting like this because of her.

It was because she had forgotten everything.

After the apparent incident (Y/n) knew of, she had been in a coma for nearly a year.

Finally waking up, the girl, unfortunately, lost her memory, not remembering anything that happened or even who she is.

When hearing the full story, (Y/n) took a deep breath, in utter shock.

"I stabbed myself?" She questioned for the 100th time.

He nodded. For the 100th time.

"You're my boyfriend?"

Draco nodded once more, making it the 101th time.

"I.. I don't remember any of this.." She muttered.

"According to the doctor, you're not supposed to, and you probably won't.." Draco sighed.

"I'm.. sorry- uh-"

She looked at him with unease.

"Draco."

"Sorry, Draco.."

Those words had been echoing in his ears ever since she woke up a week ago.

He missed the way she used to hug him from behind and call him 'Dray'.

It was all gone now.

"Draco? Are you okay?" (Y/n) asked, pulling Draco back to reality.

The boy blinked a few times and smiled at her.

"Yeah, sorry. Just zoned out."

A knock suddenly came from the door, breaking the awkward silence between the two.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione all walked in, staring between them.

"Oh, hello!" She greeted joyfully.

"Good afternoon (Y/n). " Hermione smiled.

The boys stared awkwardly at each other.

"Need anything, Potter?" Draco asked politely.

"Actually, yes-"

"Oh?" He gave Harry a questioning look.

"(Y/n), could I borrow Draco for a second?"

"Sure thing!" She nodded.

Draco stared at the boy who lived, startled.

Leading him out of the room, Harry closed the door behind him, leaving Ron and Hermione inside with (Y/n).

"Potter..? Are you sick?"

"What?" Harry question, dumbfounded by Draco's question.

"You called me by my first name."

Harry remained silent and stared at Draco, him doing the same.

"So I did." He said abruptly.

"Anywho, there's something important we need to discuss." Harry said.

-----

Draco opened the door leading into (Y/n)'s room.

He rethought and rethought what Harry had just told him, and his mind was completely occupied at the thought of bringing back her memories.

Harry had just left with the golden trio, leaving Draco and (Y/n) alone in the room.

"Sooo, what did Harry talk to you about?"

"It's nothing."

"You sure? You seem zoned out."

"Yeah, I'm good."

Truth was, Draco was reliving every memory they had, trying to remember what specific thing could regain her memories.

That's when it hit him.

"Thought of something?" (Y/n) asked, noticing the visible spark in his eyes and change of emotion.

"Maybe. I'll test it out tomorrow." He replied, giving a smile.

"Alright, well, good luck!"

-----

"Seriously?! Do you think it will work?" Hermione asked.

Draco shrugged, hoping it would.

"Well, it's worth a shot." Ron said.

"What if it doesn't work, though?" Harry asked.

The other three fell silent, staring each other back and forth.

"Then.. we keep trying." Draco finally spoke up.

Hermione nodded in agreement, and Harry smiled lightly.

"You really have changed because of her Draco." Harry said.

Draco looked at him surprised, though quickly smiled in response.

"Thank you, Harry."
