The Annual Ball was held at the outskirt of the city in a banquet which had the capability to attract any person's attention. And the commendable decorations just added to its beauty.

This year's Ball was hosted by the Alvarez Family, a Spanish Mafia, who were as powerful as the Ahuja Family.

The Spanish Mafia were the only ones who didn't care about wars and illegal shipments. They were the only ones who had signed a treaty with nearly every Mafia Family, including the Romano Family.

As the Alvarez had a good relation with every Mafia Family, nearly every Family from different countries were invited which was quite frustrating in Arhaan's opinion.

He was quite sceptical to attend the ball for there was a high possibility that the Ball could end up with gun shots being fired all around the banquet. Reason being, there were a lot of enemies of his in the same area.

And it was never good for the enemies to be in the same place at the same time. Therefore, to ensure that the Alvarez wouldn't have to spend extra money on the banquet, they had instructed the guests to behave and control their urge to kill their enemies.

He had also forbid anyone from entering inside with any sharp object.

"You ready?" Arhaan whispered and put his arm around Aadhya's waist who nodded and plastered a small smile on her lovely face.

Mr. and Mrs. Ahuja stepped on the red carpet and let the media take their pictures while they silently made their way to the entrance which was heavily guarded.

After being thoroughly checked for any hidden weapons, they entered inside and Arhaan once again put his arm around her waist and guided her towards Mr. Carmen and Mrs. Sofia Alvarez who were standing beside the entrance, waiting for the guests to arrive.

"Hola, Mr. Ahuja." Mr. Carmen Alvarez greeted the couple in his Spanish accent.
(Translation: Hello, Mr. Ahuja.)

"Hola, Mr. Alvarez." Arhaan greeted back.

"If you don't mind me asking, who might this lovely lady be?" Carmen asked while looking at Aadhya with a friendly gaze.

"Oh, not at all. She is my wife— Mrs. Aadhya Ahuja."

"I didn't know you were married." Sofia spoke for the first time.

"We just got married a few days ago." Aadhya replied instead of her husband and smiled at the friendly woman.

"¡Oh! Me sorprende saber que no fuiste a tu luna de miel y en cambio viniste aquí." As Arhaan knew how to speak Spanish, he was able to understand his words, unlike Aadhya who just awkwardly smiled at them.
(Translation: Oh! I am surprised to hear that you didn't go on your honeymoon and instead came here.)

"Estaba ocupada con mi negocio legal." He replied back with a baritone voice.
(Translation: I was busy with my legal businesses.)

"¡Vaya! Entiendo. Debe ser tan frustrante no tener una luna de miel."
(Translation: Oh! I understand. It must be so frustrating not having a honeymoon.)

"Muy frustrante, de verdad." Arhaan smirked and looked at Aadhya who was not able to grasp even a single word.
(Translation: Very frustrating, indeed.)

"Carmen, speak in English. It's rude to speak in a language our guest doesn't understand." His wife scolded him which made Carmen look at Aadhya with guilty eyes.

"I am very sorry for my husband's behavior." Sofia glared at her husband and then said,"Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. I am Sofia Alvarez."

"It's alright. You have a pretty name, Mrs. Alvarez." Aadhya complimented the lady.
