Taehyung and Jungkook ran towards her, but it was too late because a car ran past her as she collapsed on the floor in her pool of blood..
Taehyung and Jungkook kneeled down beside her. Tears started flowing from his eyes. “Tae-- Tae-- please call an ambulance. Tae she's-- losing a lot of blood.”
Taehyung quickly called an ambulance and they rushed her to the hospital.
Sumi was taken to the emergency unit. Taehyung and Jungkook both of them were sitting outside waiting for the doctor to arrive. Jungkook kept his head on the older's shoulder and mumbled, “She will be okay. Right hyung?”
“Yes baby. She will be completely okay. Don't worry. Sumi is a warrior.” Taehyung said and softly patted Jungkook's head. “But Kookie what happened? Why were you both in the middle of the road like that?”
Jungkook told him everything that happened. Taehyung hummed in response.
Just then the doctor came out. “Mr. Kim.” she called for Taehyung. She was Sumi’s old doctor so she knew Taehyung personally.
They both quickly stood up from their place and rushed towards her.
“Doctor how it Sumi?” Taehyung asked her.
“Mr. Kim, she has severely injured her left leg so we have to perform a surgery to realign and fix the broken bones. Her upper body is safe from any major injury except for a few cuts but she has lost a lot of blood so we're trying to find her blood group's blood. And--” she paused.
“And what doctor?” Jungkook quickly asked.
“Mr Kim you have to sign the consent form since any of Miss Choi’s relatives are not here--” she was cut off by Taehyung.
“But ma'am how can I--” Taehyung was cut off by Jungkook.
“He will do it.” Jungkook said and held Taehyung's arm.
“Okay, please go to the reception and fill in all the formalities as soon as possible because we can't be late else it will be difficult to the fetus.” she said.
“Okay.” Taehyung said and turned towards the reception but when the realisation hit him he swiftly turned back and literally shouted, “WAIT. WHAT?”
The doctor looked at him with a confused expression and said, “Why are you shouting Mr. Kim?”
“You-- you said something about a fetus--” Taehyung stuttered.
“Yes. Your child.” she said.
“His child? What?” Jungkook spoke in a small voice. “Hyung-- your child?” he looked at Taehyung who turned towards him and saw that Jungkook's whole face had turned pale and tears were threatening to fall from his eyes.
“Kook-- noo.” Taehyung nodded his head in a no and then he looked at the confused doctor and asked, “Sumi is pregnant?”
“Yes, you didn't know that?” She asked him.
“No.” Taehyung mumbled.
“How-- how is it possible? Hyung.” Jungkook said and the tears which he was holding, started escaping from his doe eyes.
“Kookie, no baby it's not what you think.” Taehyung quickly took the crying boy in his arms and asked the doctor, “Doctor, she's pregnant for how long?”
