[⭒2nd person POV⭒]

Hoppy and Kickin were exploring the small bit of forest behind the house while everyone else was inside.

"Uh, Kickin? Do you think we should be going this far?"

Hoppy murmured, looking around the tall trees surrounding them.

"Bah, I'm sure we'll be fine!"

Kickin said confidently, continuing forward,

"We've still got plenty of light left and we know the way back. So c'mon! Let's keep exploring!"

Kickin said as he continued forward, while Hoppy ran after him.

"Hey! Wait up!"

"Hey Dot? Have you seen Kickin and Hoppy?"

You opened the door to Dorothy's room a bit more than it already was, looking at her while she was sitting on her bed.

"Uh, no? Why?"

She took off her headphones and tilted her head at you,

"I thought they were with the other critters?"

She added, getting off of her bed and walking towards you.

"They were but they said they haven't seen them and I can't find them anywhere in the house."

You said, running your hand through your hair as Dorothy listened,

"Did you check outside? They seem to like to explore out there quite a bit."

She asked, as the two of you walked out of her room.

"No, I haven't checked outside yet. Could you get the kids and meet me outside please?"

You asked, looking at her before walking down the stairs. She nodded and headed to the main room while you headed to the back door.

After a bit Dorothy had gotten the other critters outside while you were already out there calling Hoppy's and Kickin's names. You turned to see all the kids standing behind you and Dorothy asked,

"You think you know where they went?"

"Well, I think they may have gone into the forest to explore,"

You answered, turning back to face the trees again. Dorothy nodded before starting to walk towards the trees,

"I'll go in and look for them,"

She said, but you grabbed your shoulder and said,

"We should all go look."

She looked back at you before she nodded. You turned back to look at the six critters behind you but felt Dorothy leave your grasp and head into the trees as DogDay quickly followed behind her.

"You've gotten us lost Kickin!"

Hoppy exclaimed, throwing her hands up into the air in frustration. Her brother looked back at her,

"Nuh-uh! No I didn't! What makes you think we're lost?"

He asked, turning back to face his sister, who rubbed her face in annoyance,

"Well, we have no idea where we are, and no way to know which path to take to get back home!"

She shouted, as Kickin rolled his eyes slightly and was about to retort when they heard Bobby's voice

"Hoppy!? Kickin!?"

They turned at the sound of the voice as Hoppy exclaimed,

"We're over here!"

She started waving her arms around even though they couldn't see the red bear just yet. Kickin started waving his arms as well as they saw Bobby pushing her way through the bushes,

"There you two are!"

She shouted as they both saw Dorothy emerge as well behind her.

"Bobby!"

Hoppy exclaimed, running over to her and throwing her arms around her, lifting her off of the ground for a moment.

"Kickin got us lost 'cus he said we should explore further than we already have and we didn't know how to get home!"

Hoppy blurted out as Dorothy sighed picking her and Bobby up then walking over to Kickin and picking him up as well.

"Let's get back to mom, yeah?"

She asked walking back to where she knew you were.

After a few minutes of calling you saw Dorothy walking back towards you with three small figures. Two in her arms while the other was on her shoulder. You ran over to her, picking up Hoppy and Kickin,

"Where were you two?"

You asked, holding them close,

"Kickin got us lost 'cus he wanted to explore more of the forest that we hadn't seen Momma,"

Hoppy said as Kickin glared at her. You sighed,

"Well I'm just glad we found you two,"

You replied, continuing to hold the two close to yourself.

"Well I'm going back inside now if ya don't mind,"

Dorothy spoke (still holding Bobby), and started to head back home. You nodded and followed her as the other critters did as well. You were just glad you had found the two and that they were safe and sound.
