- Maddy -

My eyes kept gazing forward, examining Lauren with the most intense look. The fact that when her own eyes swept over me, i could tell she was pressured up, finding even more thrill by what i'm doing.

"Oh. Well there goes the bell." Her voice filled the classroom, everyone rushing to pack up as i purposely did the opposite.

"Yes, Maddy?" The teacher held her formal tone as the last student only now exited and shut the door behind themselves. "Need some judgment on my sketch." I sat the notebook in front of her, already smiling about what i had been doing the whole lesson.

Lauren focused on it herself, her finger gently tracing the outline of the drawing. Her touch sent shivers down my spine, almost like i'm feeling heated up from how sensually she guided over the paper.

"So? What should i approve towards?" I gripped the desk and leaned closer, our faces now mere inches apart after she looked up.

"Maddy, you know there is nothing to downgrade every time i see your sketches." The woman replied however she sounded tensed. I guess, i'm truly making her feel things from how i draw her.

Without thinking, I closed the gap and our lips met in an intense kiss. I couldn't resist deepening it as soon as possible though, Lauren's hand even reaching over to grip my hair, yanking me even more down. Our mouths moved in perfect harmony, as if they were made for each other. I felt a rush of emotions, overwhelming me as she kissed me like we have never had before.

"No! Stop. Maddy, this is the wrong place to do that." Her breathless voice came through, practically panicking as i absorbed her try and organize the desk.

"We would hear someone come in. The door doesn't have a window either." I commented however took the sketch book back, putting it away. "Listen, sweetheart," she stood up, making her way around, "we should settled down a bit. We can't be doing that in public. People here or not but they're still behind that door, Maddy."

"If so? They can't see us and that's the most important thing. Lauren, i have been dying the whole day for your class to come, for me to see you after those other boring lessons!" I took a step closer, grabbing her hand in my hold yet she immediately denied it.

"No. Maddy, listen, let's put up some limits. You're getting too comfortable with this so it's only for the best if we act like strangers around others and honestly, less kissing in private. My gut feeling is telling me that we're gonna fall into a trap at some point."

As those words left her mouth, my heart sank but she did nothing but sat back down, ready to focus on the work again. "You can't be serious right now." I said, staring at her with disbelief.

"I can lose my job if we get caught! And this whole thing isn't just about me, Maddy! You're soon gonna apply for the art college, i know exactly how strict they are on the new students that wanna come in. If your name is gonna hold a situation where you had been messing with your teacher, they won't like that."

"What has gone into you today? What is this? Why? Are you just discreetly trying to cut this whole relationship off?" I questioned and silence took over, Lauren's expression softening which brought even further confusion in me.

"From when did we make it official?" She smiled out whilst asking. "I mean- well- I didn't.. say anything about that."

"Why are you stuttering?" She stood up once again, shrinking our distance. "I-i'm not! You just- why did you ask that? I didn't even- do you think i was hinting on something?"

"Why are you nervous?" I felt her hand interlock with mine however the decision she wanted us to make flooded right back to me.

"Lauren, stop dodging the main purpose of the conversation now. What the hell did you mean by us setting limits? What now? I won't be able to kiss you? No hugging? No coming over to spend time with each other?!"

"My pretty girl," she pressed herself against me, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear with a smile, "i'm not breaking this, what you referred to as a relationship, off. I can't even distance my own self for long if we needed to. Maddy, we can still meet up, of course hug but the kissing though," her forehead rested on mine, the both of us taking in the moment, "we can't do that. At least not often. We're gonna get too comfortable with it and it will backfire before we realize."

"Okay. I get it. It kinda will make this whole thing more exciting. I guess." I dragged the last word out, showcasing my sarcasm. "Want me to make you more happy despite this rule we'll have to follow?" She whispered back, my whole attention locking on her to hear what she'll say.

"Want us to be together? Like officially? I'm not surprised you had already looked at it like that already but this talk should have happened nonetheless."

"Are you serious? Like actually serious?" I questioned, making sure to get the clearance before my excitement burst out.

"I'm serious, pretty." Those words brushed against my lips and i wanted nothing else but to press them together.

"Lauren," i slipped my hand on her cheek, moving her even closer but refusing us from actually kissing, "i love you." The confession left my mouth, the woman doing nothing else but widening her smile.

"I love you too, Maddy."
