It was 8 am and Charlotte, Caitlin, Jada, and I were sitting at a table at a breakfast place inside the resort we were staying at.
We all had already finished eating and now we were just talking about random things.
"Is Kate your government name?" Charlotte asked.
The four of us just started laughing at Charlotte's random question.
"Yeah, it is." I said.
"Oh, so you're not like a Katelyn or Kathleen or Katherine?" Charlotte questioned.
"Nope." I said.
"Aw, I love that." Charlotte said.
"I'm actually kind of hyped for the game today." Jada said.
"Me too." I said.
"I really do not want to play a game today." Caitlin said, slapping her head with her hand.
"That sucks for you Caitlin." Charlotte said.
"My pain is not something to make fun of." Caitlin joked.
"Yes it is." Charlotte said.
"Charlotte, you're gonna put me in therapy." Caitlin groaned.
After a while we all were on our phones and I was watching tiktok. Charlotte laid her head on my shoulder and started to watch with me.
Charlotte kept her head there for a while and I was hoping she wouldn't lift her head up anytime soon.
A random video popped up about Ireland and Charlotte lifted up her head quickly and looked over at me.
"Hey, I'm Irish." Charlotte said.
"Okay." I laughed, confused as to why she would even mention it knowing that so many people were Irish.
"Kate, kiss me I'm Irish!" Charlotte said.
This caused Caitlin and Jada to spin their heads towards us.
"Nice try." I said.
