Chapter 26: I CANNOT like Brad.

Bethany's POV:

I hear the doorbell.

It's gotta be Brad.

I take one final look in the mirror.

I can do this.

Of course I can.

I run downstairs and open the door.

"Bethany! Hello." Brad said.

I have to admit, his accent IS adorable.

"Hey." I replied, smiling.

"C'mon, let's go." He answered, motioning me to come outside.

We walked towards his car and got in it. I wonder where we are going...

"So, what do you have planned?" I asked, curiously.

"You'll see." He replied, smiling.

I was excited. But for some reason nervous... I hope this all goes well.

We talked the whole car ride, and once we arrived, I got out of the car and saw a path.

We were in some forest.

"Where are we?" I asked, admiring everything.

"It's a scenic path. I thought that I should bring a beautiful girl on a beautiful walk." He said, smiling at me.

I laughed as we started to walk.

This path is so beautiful.

Although, it was a bit tiring...

Brad stopped and looked at me.

"Close your eyes." He told me.

I smiled then closed my eyes.

He guided me up some hill.

"Open your eyes." Brad said.

I opened my eyes to see a breathtaking view of the whole city.

It looked incredibly beautiful.

"Pretty speechless, huh?" Brad asked, standing next to me, admiring the view.

I just nodded.

He laughed.

I look at him and he's still smiling.

Man, he has the cutest smile.

Wait, what?!

"This is gorgeous." I said.

"Almost as gorgeous as you." He replied.

We turned to face each other.

And slowly leaned in.

Suddenly, our lips touched.

We both pulled away and then, awkwardly looked back at the view.

"Maybe we should start walking back..." Brad said, nervously.

"Yeah, that might be a good idea." I replied.

Me and Brad just kissed.

What am I going to do?

I really don't know.

I have this weird tingly feeling inside me.

No, I cannot like Brad.

I like Ross, and that's how it's going to be.
