Chapter 3: Wakey, Wakey!

Bethany's POV:

When I woke up, it was 9:00am, and Ross was already up on his phone. I looked at him and asked:

"Why you up now? It's only nine."

"Um... I don't know. I just didn't really sleep well and I woke up pretty early." He replied.

"Oh, is it because of me?"

"No, not at all! I just wasn't really that tired."

"Okay, good. Is everyone else already up?" I said.

"I don't think so. They probably will soon though." He answered.

I sat up and stretched. I felt a little weird, but not a sick weird. Sorta like a nervous weird. I don't know why though.

"Uhh... Is it just me or is it really hot in here?" I said, fake laughing. Ross looked at me and replied:

"Just you. I'm pretty cold actually!"

For some reason, being around Ross made me feel a little nervous lately.
Which was weird because normally, when I'm with Ross, I'm totally cool with being myself. But why in the world would I be nervous around him?

That's when someone knocked on our door.

"It's open!" Ross yelled.

Rydel's POV:

I came into Ross' room and said:

"Boy, I slept well! Haha! What about you guys?" I asked, stretching.

"I slept pretty good." Bethany replied. Ross nodded.

"Moms downstairs getting breakfast ready. It should be done in about 10 minutes. So, I suggest you guys get dressed and meet everyone downstairs. See Ya!" I told them.

"Okay, we'll be down soon. Bye." Ross answered.

Ross' POV:

Rydel left and Bethany got up and left to change. I stayed and my room to change and about 5 minutes later, Beth came back and said:

"I'll be downstairs. See-"

"I'm coming!" I shouted and ran downstairs.

We made it downstairs and sat around the table with everyone. Beth sat across from me.

"Alright! Pancakes are ready, come and get some." My mom said.

After everyone got up and got some, Rydel said:

"Any plans for today?"

"Nope. Just chilling." Ratliff replied.

Rydel's POV:

"I have an idea." Bethany said, smirking.

Ross looked at her and immediately knew what she was talking about.

"No! We are not going to the mall!" He said back to her.

She laughed.

"Why not?! It's so fun!" She replied.

"Yeah Ross! Why not?" I asked Ross.

"Fine...." Ross replied.

"Whoa. I am not going to the mall." Riker said.

"Fine, you don't have to. Rocky, Ratliff, you guys coming?" I told them.

"Sure." They both replied.

After we talked for about 15 minutes, mom took our plates and was doing the dishes.

"When are we going?" Ross said.

"In about half an hour." Rocky answered.

I noticed Beth was staring. I couldn't quite tell who or what she was staring at though. Wait.... She's staring at... I focused my eyes on her and... Oh my gosh! She's staring at Ross?! Why?!

"Rydel! Rydel!" Ratliff yelled at me.

"Oh! Sorry..." I said back.

Beth was still staring so I decided to say something.

"Beth! Oh my gosh! Your shoes are really cute!" I told her, smiling.

"Huh? Oh! Um thanks. I got them at forever 21." She replied.

I'm still wondering why she was staring at Ross... Maybe she didn't notice who she was staring at? Maybe she likes... No! There best friends and that would never happen.
