Bethany's POV:

I wake up the next morning feeling much better.

I sit up, stretch and then look at my clock.

11:00am?!

I slept in!

Oh well. It's not like I had something to do today.

I slowly get out of bed and change.

I decide to go more casual for today.

Pair of black, ripped jeans with a white crop top and converse is perfect.

I just combed my hair and let it fall loose.

I head downstairs and see a note left on the kitchen table.

"Good morning sweetie!
I'm gone out to the grocery store with your dad. We will be home around 1:00pm. Love, mom."

So, I guess I'll be alone for a bit.

After I eat breakfast, I get really bored.

It's only 12:00pm.

I look out the window and realize how beautiful it is outside.

I decide to go for a walk.

I step outside and breathe in the nice, fresh air.

Feels so relaxing.

Recently, everything has been super stressful. So, it feels good to go for a walk. Especially since it's so gorgeous out today!

I walk around L.A. for about 30 minutes and eventually find a bench.

I walk over and sit down.

'Shout I text Ross?' I ask myself.

I stare at my phone.

Might as well give it a shot, right?

'Hey Ross. Can we talk?' I type.

I stare at my phone, again.

Then, finally build up the courage to send it.

It immediately says that he read my text.

Oh no.

He's typing.

I'm nervous.

Finally, he answers.

'Sorry, can't talk right now. Bye.'

That's it?

'Oh that's fine... When can you talk? It will only take 10 minutes of your time.' I text back.

'I might have a few minutes.' He text back.

I'm definitely nervous.

Suddenly, my phone starts ringing.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hey, you wanted to talk?" Ross answered.

"Oh, um, yes."

There's a moment of silence.

"So? What did you want to talk about? You're wasting my time." Ross replied, not sounding too impressed.

Why is he being so rude?

"Well, I'm sorry if I'm just a waste of your time." I blurted out, without even thinking.

"What?!"

I can't hold it in anymore.

"I hate arguing with you, Ross, but that's all we've been doing recently! And I'm tired of it. I don't like the fact that in these past two days, every single one of our conversations consists of us yelling at each other! We wouldn't be fighting if you would've just told me what you are keeping from me. This is all your fault!" I yelled back at him.
