Chapter 26: Yes!

   I was having breakfast with Adam.
"Please don't go." I hugged him.
"You have Ethan."
"Stop saying that."
"You do!"
"Yeah but maybe I just want you."
"You going to be late, let's go." He was in uniform and ready to go, I also had my uniform on.
"You be safe at work." He says.
"I know I know."
"Let me get Ethan." I say. I walked into the kitchen. He was teaching the chefs how to cook and they look very annoyed.
"Ethan lets roll out!"
"I'm not a team member." He says walking over.
"Whatever." We got in the car. My phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Faye meet us at the hospital we got a call."
"What hospital?
"Huntington." My heart dropped.
"Ok thanks Sam." I hung up.
"Call?" Adam asked.
"Yeah we got to hurry. It's a Huntington."
"Oh shit." Ethan says.

  We go to the hanger where Adam was going to be deployed. I hugged him so tight. I was balling my eyes out."
"Now you have to skype me and call me."
"I know and if you need anybody you call Ethan."
"Ok."
"And one last thing."
"What?" He got on own knee and I covered my face with my hands.
"Adam." I say.
"Faya Marie would you do the honor in marrying me?"
"Is that even a question? Yes!" I hugged him and wreaked my legs around his torso.
"You both need to go." Ethan says.
"I Lovie you." He says.
"I love you too." He kissed me before leaving. Ethan hugged me.
"Be safe!" Ethan yelled.
"You too!" Adam yelled back. Ethan rubbed my back.
"Why didn't he do that 6 months ago?!"
"Because he was scared."
"Of who?"
"Me."

  Ethan drove me to Huntington.
"What the hell is going on sarge?!" I put a head set in.
"Ethan." I waved for him to follow me.
"Bomb went off and the building is going to collapse."
"Who's inside?"
"Christina, Carly, Spike, And Jules. Possibly more."
"What can I do?"
"Talk to Sam."
"Sam where are you?"
"Get my baby out of that hospital!" He says.
"Working on it where are you!?"
"Trailer." I walked in. He took my hand.
"Where did you get that rock?" He says.
"Faye's engaged?" Jules asks.
"Not important. right now we need to get you out."
"Faye's engaged." Jules says.
"Hell yeah!" I hear Christina. Sarge laughs.
"Congratulations." Spike says.
"Thank you."
"Wait who was it?" Eddie asks.
"Yeah, Ethan or Adam?" Sam says.
"Adam."
"Ow la la." Spike says.
"Where's Slater?" I ask.
"That's our their problem, he lost his headset."
"Shit!"
"Yeah. Jules how is Carly?"
"What's wrong with Carly?"
"She fell and hit her head. Christina has shrapnel in her arm." Jules says.
"I'm functional!" She yells.
"Christina is pregnant too." I say.
"Christina!" Spike says.
"Oh shit up Faye!" I laugh.
"Oh boss we got a package."
"Carful spike could be a bomb."
"Disarmed." He says.
"Good job." Eddie says.
"Ugh." We hear on the ratio.
"Slater?" Sarge says.
"Slater?" He says again.
"Status slater! God damn it!"
"Sarge?"
"Where are you?" Jules asks.
"The elevator dropped what happened?" He asks.
"The building exploded." Spike says.
"Stop it right there!" Eddie says.
"Eddie what is it?"
"On the ground!" He yells.
"Hey!"
"Faye, Sam, go with Eddie he's on the north building."
"Alone?" I ask.
"I was with him until the building collapsed." Sarge says.
"Ok Christina you're losing blood." Jules says.
"I'm fine!"
"She needs to tie it off." I say.
"We don't have anything to use." Spike says.
"Is there a bed somewhere?" I ask.
"Yes." Jules says.
"Tear the sheets let's go!" Sarge says.
"Eddie." I say.
"He got away."
"Who?" Sam asks.
"Possible bomber. On the roof chasing him."
"Faye and I are moving up the stairs.
"He's got a gun."
"Status slater!" Sarge says.
"I hit my head a lot but I'm good." We met Eddie on the building.
"Watch out." Eddie says as a bullet goes by.
"Status!" Jules shouts.
"All good." He says.
"Getting my baby out?" Sam asks.
"Getting there." Spike says.
"Get on the ground!" I shout.
"Now!" Sam says. He shoots.
"Faye's down." Eddie says.
"Faye!" Jules shouts.
"Hit the vest." I say as Sam pulls me to cover.
"Sam stay with her." Eddie says.
"Not a good idea Ed."
"How's...Christina?" I ask.
"She's good you hang in there." Jules says.
"Status Faye?" Sarge asks.
"Little winded." I say. Sam helped me up.
"On the ground!" Sam yells at the guy. He is about to jump.
"No!" I yell.
"Sir!" Eddie shouts.
"What's going on?" Sarge asks.
"He jumped." Sam says.
"Damn it!" Sarge shouts.
"We need to get slater out." Eddie says.
"Get on it." Sarge says.
"Status Jules." Sam says.
"I'm pretty tired but we found a stairwell."
"How's Carly?" I ask.
"She's good. Unconscious but good."
"Ok." I say.
"I see a hole." Slater says.
"You have your flare gun?" Spike asks.
"Yeah."
"Shoot it on my go." Sarge says. We ran to different sides of the hospital.
"Go slater!" It shit in the air.
"East elevator!" Sam yells.
"East elevator." Sarge yells the firemen. 
"Spikes how's it going?" I ask.
"Did you say east elevator?"
"Yeah." Sam says.
"We found the elevator." Jules says. It was silent for a minute.
"Jules what's going on?" Sarge asks.
"Faye what do you know about labor?" Jules asks.
"Jules!" Sam yells.
"Not me Christina." She says. Sam just about had a heart attack.
"How far are her contractions?" I ask.
"Just started I can't tell you."
"Spike you need to open the elevator." Sam says.
"It's in between floors I'll do my best. Slater I'm gonna knock now."
"Ok."
"Yup thats him." Spike says.
"Milo!" I yell.
"Faye oh my gosh!"
"Where is tom?"
"There." He was helping people.
"Tom hey, Christina is in labor."
"What?"
"Yeah come here."
"Sarge get Tom a headset."
"Here."
"Christina?"
"Hey Tom." She grunts.
"I'm gonna be right here." Tom says. I smiled.
"Slater how are we on the door?"
"It's not budging."
"Spike do you have explosives?" Eddie asks.
"Yeah put the reaction would hurt Slater."
"Get slater out of there." Sarge says.
"Shh." Spike says.
"Spike?" Sarge says.
"Shh be quiet." Jules says.
"Do you hear that?" Spike says.
"Came from down the hall." Spike says.
"What is it?" Sam asks.
"Babies crying."
"What floor are you on?" I ask.
"7." Jules says.
"Maturity ward." I say.
"Get those babies out." Sarge says.
"Sarge your not gonna believe this." Jules says.
"What's is it Jules?"
"There's got to be 20 people up here huddled in the corner."
"Is Melissa in there?" Tom asks.
"Oh Melissa!" I say.
"Melissa?" Spike says.
"Hi Melissa." Jules says.
"Melissa delivers babies." Tom says.
"Can you help us deliver a baby?"
"Alright she's over here."
"Thank gosh." Tom says.
"Team 3 just arrived. Are you kidding me!" Sarge says.
"How can we help?" Their sarge asks.
"Getting slater out of the elevator. Where have you been?"
"He had another call."
"Get!" Sarge says. She laughed.
"Bobbie!" I hear yelling.
"What's going on spike?"
"There's a doctor yelling."
"Ask him his name." Tom says.
"His name is Steven Shaw." Jules says.
"That's Bobbie's husband." I say.
"Team 3 elevator!" Sarge says.
"Parker we got a guy in the parking garage who won't leave." A officer says.
"Faye, Sam." We ran down there.
"The fuck Ethan?" Sam says.
"I want to help."
"Let's go."
"No." Sam and I walked over and each took one of his arms.
"I'll take him." An officer said.
"He's with us." I say.
"Faye I want to talk to Ethan." Sarge says.
"Someone is getting the wrath." Eddie says.
"It's gonna sting." Spike says.
"Parker he found 4 kids who were trapped.
"See?" Ethan says.
"Sarge?" I ask.
"Nope." He says.
"What your gonna do is your gonna sit in that trailer and your gonna stay put." Sarge says. We laughed.
"Why did you bring him?"
"He took me to say goodbye to Adam."
"Where is Adam going?"
"Really boss?" Eddie says.
"He deployed." I say.
"Jules how are we?" Sam asks.
"Good baby still not here."
"Team 3?" Sarge asks.
"Slater they are coming in."
"I see them."
"Take my hand." A women says.
"He's out." Sarge says.
"Not we get everyone else out." He says.
"Spike clear the door."
"Move back." Jules says. The was a puff of smoke coming out of the little hole.
"Status?" Sarge says. Sam's foot bobbed up and down.
"No harm." Jules says.
"Pulling team one out." Team 3 says. There was another puff of smoke.
"Status!" Sam yells.
"Spike fell." Jules says.
"Boss your not gonna like this."
