Lilly's POV-

I still don't understand why I hadn't taken Gabe up on his offer to repay me already. Two days had past with me pulling every excuse in the book. All to avoid doing something I couldn't wait to do the day I found Gabe's note, but now that I had a real reason to be over at Gabe's house. I was hesitating for some reason.

I was thinking about my invite dilemma as I continued to decorate a wedding cup cake display. And yes I said cup cakes, there everywhere. Bryan came into the kitchen with his ear buds in, which were blaring Peacock by Katy Perry. When he noticed me in the kitchen he took his ear buds out and plugged his phone into the speakers on the work table. I had been so caught yup in my own thoughts that I hadn't even thought to plug my phone in. Which was odd for me, for the fact that I worked the best with good music playing.

Bryan walked over to me and kissed my check saying "Morning Lil, I was surprised to see the speakers not being monopolized by you this morning like usual."

"Morning Bry. And your hilarious I do not hog the speakers." I said in a curt voice.

"Yes you do." Bryan said with a smirk. He could tell that I wasn't in the most friendliest moods, but he still went on to ask "Your still not sleeping? Why don't you just put you and most likely your hunky neighbor both out of misery by just stopping by one night?"

Making a face at Bryan. I stopped working on the wedding cupcake order. I really didn't know what was stopping me from going over to Gabe's house, but with every passing night I got less and less sleep. It was as if my body had made up its mind in what it wanted to do, which was unlike my over thinking brain. And I so don't function well on no sleep. So I knew that it was coming down to the wire for me to make a decision.

"God! Do you always have to be right?!" I said with mock anger.

"Well I always was the brain's of this operation. So are you going to take my advice, and put on your big girl panties and just go tonight?"

"You so are not the brains of this operation."

Just as I said that Margret came in from the dinning room. Saying "You got that right, everyone knows I'm the one in control of this operation."

This made all of us laugh, for the fact the three of us often seemed to share the same mind in the way we thought of things.

"Hey! Don't try to change the subject Lil!" Bryan yelled.

"Really Bryan cant you use your inside voice?" I said back to Bryan.

Margret gave me a look of confusion before asking "What's he talking about?"

Bryan took the liberty to answer for me by saying "She still hasn't gone over to Gabe's house after he left her that note inviting her over for dinner."

Margret shock her head at me before saying "You have got to be kidding me chica?! What happened to you making a bigger effort to have a personal life? I can't believe you fell of the wagon so fast, especially with having that beef cake of an next door neighbor."

Great now I really had done it. Having Bryan in a twist was one thing, but if I now had to add in Margret I was in some deep stuff. I new that I mine as well just pull up a chair at this point, for I knew I was going to be here awhile.

"I know what I said guy's. And I haven't fallen of the wagon already, but you guy's know me I never do anything without thinking it over."

Bryan shied saying "Yes we both know how you have to over analyze everything. Even when the answer to the problem is being handed to you. No you still have to sit and chew on the dame thing like a junk yard dog."
