I skipped my dinner and was about to sleep when a maid came and told me that he is calling me. I sighed. After so many days I'm going to her room or should I say their room. I knocked and waited for him to open the door.

He opened the door and motioned me to come in.

"You called me??" I asked

"Yeah, actually I went to your room, but you weren't there." He said flipping through papers.

"I was in the garden. Any work?"

"Yeah, I needed your signature in these papers." He said and I frowned. "These are legal papers regarding our marriage and everything that'll be needed in London". I nodded and went towards the table where the papers were kept.

I was going through the papers when my eyes suddenly felt on their picture and immediately I felt the wet hot tears fill up my eyes, my throat closed tight but I tried to control myself. I again started going through the papers when he suddenly came and told me to move a little so that he can take out information from his Laptop.

And right then I could feel my throat closing up as fresh tears pooled my eyes. There on his laptop was a slide show. One by one their pictures were coming and sliding. How happy they both looked together. Will he be that happy with me also? Pics of them hugging, laughing, anyone who saw them always said that they are such a loving couple.

He finished his call and looked at me but my eyes were glued to his laptop screen. He quickly closed his laptop and I immediately looked down, not trusting myself. I walked towards the table and took hold of the pen, with my hands shaking, I was to sign, when all my self control jumped out of the window and my eyes bleed with pain.

Finally the tears spilt over and flowed down my face like a river escaping a dam. I closed my eyes, but drops slowly ran down my face. I wiped them again and again. When I tried to look as to where I had to sign, my vision blurried; it was difficult for me to see clearly.

"Leave it, you can sign this later on, also" he spoke softly. But I was very much adamant on signing. I tried but my hand was shaking very badly, but finally I signed and was leaving when he called.

"Hani..." And I stopped in my tracks.

"Hanya. Hanya Qureshi..." I said without turning back and left.

After praying fajar, I was wide awake. Only two days is left for my wedding and I'm not even excited or happy. I was standing in my balcony when I looked and a tear escaped. I didn't had to scream my tears did all for me. I took her picture in my hand and kept on staring at her.

I can never be her or be like her, then how can I keep happy them? Why she gave me such a big responsibility? Why? Why? I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and I know right now I need my mama the most.

I closed the door of my room and went to my parents room. Gents have still not returned from the mosque. I knocked on the door and went inside. She was reading Quran and after seeing me, she closed and kept the Quran on the shelf.

"Why are you standing there? Come here..." She said patting beside her. I didn't said anything, just went and kept my head on her lap while she was slowly running her soft fingers in my hair.

"I know you're tensed and nervous but there's nothing to worry about. One day or the other this day had to come." She said.

"But not like this mama" I said softly.

"It wasn't in our hands child. We tried our best but we couldn't stopped it from happening. But what you're doing, is a big sacrifice that anyone can do." She said.
