Thoughts ran through the Russians head like a storm. Yuri tended to over think things but he really didn't want Otabek thinking he was the jealous type.
So Yuri pretended to be unaffected by the image of Otabek being alone with, blushing with, and holding hands with A beautiful woman. Needless to say his attempt wasn't what most would call 'convincing' so as you may imagine Otabek quickly became aware of his concerns.
The two made eye contact, that being a weakness of yuri's. It seemed like one glimpse and Otabek could tell exactly what was on Yuri's mind, Otabek's expression changed, he looked almost happy.
"You." He blurted out.
Yuri flinched, surprised by the sudden noise interrupting his train of uncanny thoughts.
"..we where talking about you.." Otabek continued.
"...me? ... you mean moving back in with Lila?"
Yuri responded curiously.
"No, That subject never came up."
"Then what about me?"
"Just you."
"What..Why?"
"your my favourite subject. I could talk about you for hours."
Otabek said with a smirk
"What am I your favourite tv show?" Yuri scowled
"Much more than that."
Yuri paused then looked at Otabek.
. "W-why where you two holding hands?" Yuri muttered hesitantly
" oh..uhh "
Otabek looked down with a slight pink on his cheeks.
Otabek sighed,
"Well.. we where talking about you.. and honestly to summarize it... uh .. I told her that I love you more than words can explain and she grabbed my hands and started crying....." Otabek said stiffly, his left eye twitched as he spoke.
Yuri's face exploded with a deep red tint, his eyes wide, and his mouth gaped open. He felt pretty dumb and guilty about his assumptions.
Yuri quickly realized that Otabek basically admitted his undying love to him and that he should probably say something.
He paused to think for a second before finally mustering out a simple, yet meaningful..
"D-Ditto..".
