For 2-3 days the sam thing was happening with aarushi. Devaki always ignored her & abhishek taunted her. Sara controlled abhishek. Sumedh & rohan didn't talk to aarushi. Rohan had no guts to face aarushi as he was somewhere sure that aarushi knew about him.

Aarushi just attended the class & after attending she just quietly left. No one knew that what aarushi did all these days. Even at home both dev & aaru just followed their routine & talked formally. Aarushi always went to varun's house & some more places to find more clues. One thing she found that the girl in the pic was no more in this world & her full name was Riya Malhotra.

One day rohit came to sumedh's place.

'Aur kya baat hai rohit, aaj aise achanak se phone kiya?' Sumedh asked. Rohit looked here & there. Sumedh gave a questioned look to him.

'Sara nahi dikh rahi' Rohit said.

'Haan woh actually abhi woh maa ke saath bahar gayi hui hai. Kyu? Kya hua?' Sumedh asked.

'Dekh sumedh tujhe toh pata hi hai ki main ek lawyer hu aur ek bohot hi important case pe kaam kar raha hu' Rohit said. Sumedh nodded.

'Toh woh jo imp. case hai na....woh shayad tumlog se related hi hai. Aur main chahunga ki jo bhi mai tujhse puchu tu uska sahi-sahi answer de' Rohit said. Sumedh was confused but he decided to answer his questions.

'Thik hai!! But humse related kais ho sakti hai? I mean abhi toh aisa kuch hua nahi hai' Sumedh said.

'Abhi wohi toh pata chalega ki tumlog se related hai ya nahi' Rohit said.

'Thik hai..pooch le' Sumedh replied.

'Tu Varun ko toh jaanta hi hoga, Varun Malhotra?' Rohit asked. Sumedh became alert. 'Haan ya na?' Rohit asked.

'Haan jaanta hu par..' Before he could say something rohit interrupted.

'Abhi bas mai puchunga aur tu answer dega. Last mei jo ques puchna hoga puch lena' Rohit said. Sumedh nodded.

'Toh kabse jaante ho use?' He asked.

'College ke first year se hi' Sumedh replied. Rohit hummed.

'Kya relation tha tab usse?' He aksed.

'He was a good friend' Sumedh said.

'Ab kya hua hai?' Rohit asked. Sumedh became nervous.

'Ab nahi hai friend' he replied.

'Kyu nhi ho friend? Mere investigation se pata chala mujhe ki baaki sab toh uske behaviour se pareshaan the aur pehle friends bhi nahi rahe usse. Aur tu & sara ekdm se uske dushman kaise ho gaye? Even sara darti bhi thi na usse?' Rohit asked.

'Umm...woh acha banda nahi tha isilie humne baat karna chhod diya tha. Aur sara uske behaviour se darti thi thoda, ab thik hai. Isse jyada kuch nahi' Sumedh lied.

'Dekh sumedh agar tu jhoot bolega toh main yeh case solve nahi kar paunga' Rohit said.

'Acha pehle yeh bata ki kisne complaint kiya hai? Aur varun pr kis chiz ka shaq hai? Kis crime ke liye tu yeh sab investigation kar raha hai?' Sumedh asked. Rohit sighed.

'RAPE!! Pichle 4 mahine se naa jaanr kitne cases aaye hai but kisine koi action nahi liya hai just because unn ladkiyo ke pass proof nahi rehta tha. Aur main unn saari ladkio mei se kuch ladkio se mila jisne uss rapist ke baare mei same chize batai aur tab toh clear tha ki banda ek hi hai. Aur thoda aur pata lagane k baad hum iss varun tak pohoche, aur hum ispe shaq hai par abhi proof nahi hai humare paas, par agar...' Rohit was cut off by sumedh's mobile phone.

'Excuse me!!' Sumedh said & picked up the call, it was devaki.

'Haan bol dev!!' Sumedh said. As soon as he heard devaki's voice he understood that she was crying.

'Kya hua?? Bata dev!!' Sumedh asked. She kept on crying.

'Damnn yaar dev!! Kuch toh bol, kya hua??' Sumedh yelled.

'Woh..woh..aarushi...' Devaki stammered.

'Aarushi...kya hua use?? Is she fine???' Sumedh said.

'Nahii....usne..usne suicide attempt kiya..abhi main use hospital leke aayi hu. Bohot serious hai, please tum bakio ko inform karke jaldi aa jao' Devaki said in between cries & hung up the call. Mobile fell off his hands.
