the cold winter air was burning your cheeks as you walked down the road. you let the first tear slip. your nose began stinging and your cheeks were flushing. the cold air dried up the tears as they fell causing t\here to be odd streaks on your cheeks.
you heard someone running towards you.
" hey" your boy friend niall said as he caught up to you
"hi" you said quietly
" I uh saw you walk by my house and thought something might be wrong since you didn't come in so I called you a couple of times but you didn't answer so.." he said breathlessly
"sorry" you said " I turned off my phone"
" your not okay are you" niall said grabbing your arm softly then moving so he could see your face which was concealed by your hood.
"what's wrong" he asked
you wiped away a few tears and shrugged.
" you look really tired when was the last time you slept" niall asked
" Thursday" you said in a barley audible tone
" y/n! its Sunday" he said
you looked down at your feet and shrugged a little . niall took our hand and intertwined his fingers with yours.
" come on" he said as he walked towards his house
you walked along with him. he opened the front door and then you both went up to his room.
you got in bed and laid down. niall slipped in next to you. and re intertwined his fingers with yours.
you looked up at him. his clear blue eyes pierced trough the darkness. as he looked intently at both your hand.
he moved his thumb in some sort of pattern making you fell sleepy.
niall must have noticed your heavy eye lids because he leaned in and whispered " go to sleep love i'll be right here with you I promise"
his hot breath tickled your neck and you nodded and snuggled closer to him. he kissed your forehead and soon enough you were fast asleep with niall right next to you the whole time just like he promised
