(louis)

Me and Louis were driving down the road. I glanced up at the sky nervously storm clouds were rolling in and if was getting darker…..fast. thunder rumbled and I jumped slightly

“ Louis can you please drive a bit faster” I pleaded not wanting to be in the car when the storm hit.

“ if we go any faster I could get a ticket” he said keeping his eyes on the road

“ Louis please” I pleaded

“ Y/N NO!” he shouted

I looked away and slumped down in my seat .

“ im sorry love I shouldn’t have yelled, I know you’re afraid of storms and just want to get home” he said slipping his hand under mine and intertwining our fingers  

“ its okay” I said leaning over and resting my head on his shoulder

It started to rain. I first it was just a nice steady rain but then it picked up. Rain was pouring down so hard that the road was barely visible.

Louis put both hands on the wheel so that he wouldn’t lose control of the car. Lightning flashed and I tucked my knees up to my chest. And stared intently out the window.

A few moments later Louis was forced to pull over to the side of the road. Thunder cracked louder then ever and I covered my ears. Terrified.

“ come here love” Louis said

I crawled over and sat on his lap my knees still tucked up to his chest.

I grabbed hold of his shirt collar and buried my head in his chest when thunder sounded again .  he rubbed my back trying to calm me down. He heart was racing a mile a minute and my hands were shaking.

“ why don’t we stay at a hotel for the night” he asked

I nodded and crawled back over to the passenger’s seat. He started the car and started to drive to the nearest hotel. When we pulled into the parking lot and we ran into the hotel trying our best not to get soaked.

“ storms bringing in a lot of people tonight” the lady behind the desk said as she handed us the key.

Louis smiled and said “ yeah its getting pretty crazy out there”

“ room 254 on the 3rd floor” she said

Louis thanked her  and took my hand .

When we got to the room Louis suggested that I lay down while he showered.

I walked over to the bed and sat down looking out the large window. I heard the shower turn on and Louis feet squeak against the shower  floor.

Lightning flashed and I ran over and threw the curtain over the window. I then ran back to the bed and quickly got under the blankets. Thunder cracked and I threw the blankets over my head

“ LOUIS” I called out

“ hold on love im almost finished” he said turning the shower off.

I heard his rushing around in the bathroom then the door opened and he hurried out .

He turned the lights off and got in bed . I scooted as close to him as possible burring my head in his chest as I clutched his t-shirt.

The storm finally subsided and I was able to fall asleep
