Louis had to stay late at the studio for the WWA tour rehearsals and you tried to stay up until he got home. but you ended up falling asleep while watching tv. you had turned the tv down so that you could hear when Louis got home. but instead it only made it easier for you to fall asleep.
you thought you heard the front door open and close but you weren't sure so you decided to just go back to sleep. a few moments later you felt someone sit down on the bed and crawl over to where you were laying. you then felt your hair being moved out of your face and soft lips on your cheek. you moved slightly and made a sleepy noise.
" sorry love I didn't mean to wake you" Louis's sweet voice said
" mmh its okay I tried to stay up but I obviously failed sorry" you replied sleepily
" its okay, im gonna go change you go back to sleep its nearly 1:30" Louis said getting up from the bed
you got under the blankets and waited for Louis to change. when he was finished he got in bed next to you and turned of the lamp on the bed side table. then turned off the tv.
"it to dark in here now" you complained as the room was plunged into darkness the only light was a small blinking light coming from your laptop
" then come here love I will protect you from the scary monsters" Louis joked
you laughed and scooted closer to him.
" how was rehearsals" you asked laying your head down on his bare chest
" it was good" Louis said as he picked up a strand of your hair and started playing with it " there's still so much to do im worried we wont get it all done"
" don't worry you will" you said as you got sleepier
Louis continued talking about all they had to do and you started to zone out because you were falling asleep.
" y/n" Louis said catching you attention
" mmh" you asked sleepily
" are you listening" he asked
" yeah sorry" you mumbled " what were you saying"
" it can wait until the morning" he said
" no Louis im sorry im listening now" you said trying not to sound half asleep
" no babe your exhausted we can talk in the morning now go to bed" he replied
" ok" you said quietly
" good night love" he said
" night Louis" you replied
" love you" he whispered as he kissed your forehead
" love you two" you whispered back
