(niall)

I was in the middle of my shift at the roller rink concession stand when I saw a familiar boy stumbling his way towards me.  

“ niall!” I exclaimed as he stumbled over to me

“ heyyyyyy babbbbeeee” he slurred leaning against the counter

“ what are you doing here?” I asked   

“ i-I umm” he looked around slightly confused

“ are you drunk?” I asked lowering my voice

“ yeah I think so ,well actually I don’t know” he said giggling slightly

“ oh so that’s where you went the bar!” I said angrily

“ aww babe don’t get mad” he slurred reaching out for my arm

I yanked my arm out of his grasp and set the towel that I was using to clean off the counter in a laundry bin .

“ to late niall I am mad! You cant  keep going to the bar and getting drunk every time we get in a fight ” I said

“ umm yeah I can!” he retorted

“ god niall you are hopeless just go home” I said walking to the of the roller rinks small kitchen

“ hey wait” niall shouted after me a little too loudly

He somehow managed to climb over the concession stand counter and run after me

I turned around after hearing footsteps behind me just in time to catch niall who was about to face plant on the ground

I grabbed his arm and hoisted him back up onto his feet

“ niall you cant be back here its employees only!”  I hissed at him

“ but im an employees boyfriend ” he pouted

“ maybe not for much longer” I muttered under my breath for only me to hear

“ HEY YOU TWO ! THAT SIGN CLEARLY SAYS EMPLOYEES ONLY”  my manager shouted at us

“ I know sorry he was just leaving, weren’t you niall?” I said giving him my fakest smile

“ um no” niall retorted stumbling slightly

I held onto his elbow to keep him from falling

“ whats wrong with him?” my manager asked noticing how unsteady niall was on his feet

“ nothing hes just really clumsy, anyway he was just leaving” I said pushing niall towards the back door in the kitchen   

When my manager didn’t respond I turned around to see him talking to a concerned looking parent who pointed towards me and niall . my eyes got wide knowing something  bad was about to happen .

“ niall go “ I said pushing him out the back door where he stumbled and fell onto the gravel . I felt slightly bad but I knew he was fine so I quickly shut the door.

“ wait a moment y/n” my manager said  

“ yeah” I asked overly cheery

“where did that boy go “ he asked

“ oh he just left” I said pointing towards the door

“ why don’t you go with him” my manager said

 “ my shift isn’t over till 6:30 sir and its only 5:45” I said glancing up at the clock on the wall

“ I know” he said bitterly

“ then im confused on why I would be leaving” I asked

“ im also confused on something” he said “ im confused on why you would bring a drunk boy to a family roller rink  then let him come back into the kitchen”

“ um well sir I didn’t bring him here he came himself and I had no idea he was going to follow me back here and he was just leaving when you saw us” I nervously rambled  

“ well  he seemed to have scared some children and made several parents concerned so im going to have to ask you to hand over your name tag” he said opening his hand for me to place my name tag In

“ sir im-“ I began to say but was cut off by him shaking his head

I sighed and reluctantly handed my name tag to him

He thanked me then watched as I left through the back door

When I came out niall was sitting  on the ground still

“ great job niall!” I said slamming the door  

“ what did I do” he asked standing up and swaying from side to side slightly

“ YOU GOT ME FIRED THAT’S WHAT” I screamed at him
