"Hey Giana, do you think you can grab me a lemonade?" Emma pleads with a bat of her lashes. She jabs her thumb over to one of the food kiosk outside the boutique we were currently shopping in and I groan tiredly.

My feet are killing me! We've walked  around this entire damn mall for the last two hours. Emma insisted that we go shopping so I can help her find her prom dress- I personally think she's look great in every single one of them, but she doesn't seem to agree.

"I promise to stop shopping for today if you do." She persuades and like the two year old that I am I stick my pinky out. "Promise?"

"Of course you dork." She snorts a laugh as her tiny perfectly painted pinky wraps around my own.

"Okay good, I'll be back." I sigh in relief my feet carrying me towards the glass doors.

It's been an extremely fun week for me especially since our school is on exam week. I got to exempt all my classes so that means I didn't have to show up not even once!

Liam and I haven't talked much— okay, more like we haven't talked at all since that night at the carnival. . . And if we're going to be exact that was six day whole days ago almost seven.

Six. Whole. Days.

But who's counting, right?

Me, me I'm counting that's who!

But I don't really mind I'm sure he's just busy hanging out with his friends. Lies.

As for my friends and I, we've been practically at the mall everyday searching for not only their prom dresses but our graduation outfit as well.

I can't believe high school is almost over.

This year has been one crazy ride but I definitely can't deny how much fun I've had. Probably the most fun I've had out of all four years.

It's really been something to say the least.

I patiently wait on the pretzel line so I can get Emma's lemonade but someone catches my eye. Grey tank, white opened button up, gold chain, grey sweat shorts, and black Nikes. My throat tightens and I suddenly feel very insecure as I see a girl next to the brown eyed boy.

Oh my goshthere goes my heart.

Is it possible that he got a girlfriend in less than a week? No, he couldn't have. But why is he smiling at her like that? He always smiles at me like that!

A frown that I didn't even realize takes over my features does as I see her laugh at one of his corny jokes.

The girl is a lot shorter than he is but undeniably beautiful nevertheless. I notice that her brunette hair has streaks of highlights which is falling into a low, loose bun that matches her golden hazel eyes. She also hardly has any makeup on, not that she needs it with that exceptional clear skin of hers. A tight grey dress clings onto her hourglass figure along with a cropped black cardigan and some white sneakers.

I nervously bite my lip in hopes of Liam not noticing me.

This is beyond embarrassing.
