Christmas Eve

It's that time of the year.

Everyone is really busy doing shopping, buying gifts and food. Christmas songs are played and christmas decorations are shining through the streets.

You are the person who's one of them. You love the holiday. Giving gifts and surprises are your thing. You love making people happy.

Especially, when one of your loved ones is celebrating his birthday right before Christmas. And you literally can't wait to surprise him and make him happy.

You've got all things planned since the first month of December. Yes, you're really that excited. He's oblivious of everything, since he's away and busy because of work as a singer, promoting his stuff or so. Otherwise, it was a good thing because you can plan and prepare everything for his birthday without him noticing and this is also a way to not think about being away from each other.

Christmas Eve is nearly coming and you can't wait to finally see and surprise him. You rented his favorite restaurant at exactly midnight on his birthday. You planned to give him a birthday party and at the same time a christmas party with his family and friends, including the boys.

He's coming home the day before Christmas Eve and you'll fetch him from the airport.

"Hi, love." you hear him from the other line, "I'm going home. I can't wait to finally be in your arms."

"Me too," you honestly replied, "I miss you so much."

"Don't worry, you'll finally be going to see this beautiful face in person in seven hours." He said and you laugh.

"I bet you'll be the first one to hug and kiss me." You joked.

"You're right. I miss you damn much to not do that." He said. You chuckled.

"Okay I'm off to the airport," He says, "see you later (Y/N)."

"See you later, Louis. I love you." You replied back.

"I love you too." He answered. After talking to him, you texted all his loved ones to see if everything is good for the surprise. They replied yes, then you took a nap.

You woke up and saw it was already 8pm. You fell asleep for four hours.

"Oh no, I overslept." You mumbled to yourself as you jolted up from the bed to take a shower and get ready to pick Louis up.

It took you two hours to arrive at the airport because of traffic since it's christmas rush. You went to the terminal he told you. You look at the screen of arrivals and there was plane Louis should be in. Passengers suddenly come out so you searched for him.

After an hour you still can't find him until few people remaining come out. You check your phone if there are any messages from him but you find nothing, so you texted him.

Louis where are you??
Is your flight delayed??

He didn't respond. You called him but he's also out of reach. It's been one more hour, meaning it's already midnight, it's his birthday. You called Lottie and for a few rings he picks up.

"Hey (Y/N), we've been waiting for your call." she says.

"Are you all at the restaurant now?" You ask.
