He drove for up to ten minutes and it was like we were going to a totally different part of town. I couldn't really tell because I hardly went anywhere apart from school and work.

We get to a street which screamed wealth. Well that was expected.

He drove to the end of the street before pulling into a gate and driving in, the gates opening up on its own.

The car came to a final halt and we both got out. The compound was so big. I couldn't believe I was going to be living here for as long as I could.

We walked up to the big white doors and it immediately opened before the man got the chance to knock.

"Hello Jemma, nice to finally meet you." A woman who looked in her late thirties said as she pulled me into a breathetaking hug.

Like it was literally breathe taking

I cringed at the name she called me. No one called me Jemma.

"Good d-day" I said, struggling to breathe. She noticed and pulled away.

"Sorry about that I'm just excited," she smiled. "Come in," she opened the door wider ushering me in.

"Thanks Steve," she said to the man, taking my suitcase from him and closing the door. "I'm Sarah Waters, you can call me Sarah for as long as you want."

I nodded totally understanding what she meant. Well she knew where she stood. I didn't think I could give anyone that title again, I didn't even get the courage to call Rhonda not to talk of someone I wouldn't be staying with for a long while. I would be turning eighteen soon, It was a matter of months.

Alright it's just nine months. That's not too far away right?

"Please just call me JJ, I hate it when I'm called Jemma."

"Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know," she apologized. "Stefan, get down here!" She yelled

"I'm right here dear," a deep voice rang throughout the house. "Hello Jemma nice to finally meet you," the man reached for a hug but I shifted a little and stuck out my hand to shake his.

I was okay with his wife hugging me, but not him. He dropped his second hand as he shook mine, embarrassment written all over his face.

"Hi," I said, trying to hide my disgust. Did this people even read my profile?

Nobody called me Jemma! I made sure my social worker put that in my file.

"I'm Stefan Waters," he smiled. "Feel free to call me Stefan," he scratched the back of his head nervously.

"Call me JJ and not Jemma I hate when people do that." I repeated with a scowl on my face.

"Mum I can't find my hair dryer, did you take it?" A female voice shouted from upstairs stopping Stefan from apologizing for his wrong use of my name.

"No dear, I didn't," Sarah shouted back. "Come say hello to JJ"

Heavy footsteps were heard coming down the stairs and a girl with a bathrobe wrapped around her body and a towel around her head appeared, walking towards us.

"Hi I'm Paige Waters, it's nice to finally have a sister!" She squealed excitedly as she pulled me to a tight hug, and just like with her mother, it was hard to breathe.
